    The Great Marsh | Afternoon
    Eleroo 48 | Seek 39

Seek narrowed her brow. Well.. the Dark Types must have gotten her point as they were remaining quiet for the time being. That was the first stroke of luck to happen for them in a while.. "There are no beautiful vixen here, Giddy!" What was she?! Grinding her teeth the Aiveon tries to remain calm. Last thing she wanted was the attention of those sleazebags. "Shall we move on?~" Oh thank the legends the pair were leaving. As they pad away she calls after them, "Good riddance." Before turning to nudge Eleroo once more. Even if that pair was gone she had to make sure he was standing tall and proud... whatever he was. How would he get anywhere in life if he was always cowering behind here! The Aiveon grimaced slightly at both his appearance and some of the mud on his fur touching her new-found feathers. He looked strange, definitely not what she would of expected, and was covered in mud but the male did look healthier then he had in a long time. ...Relatively, of course.

The Radeon fans his toes and tries to wipe the grim from his short fur. He couldn't even see his new body properly because of the filth on it... With a small whine of dismay he turns to clean his new and much longer tail, spooked by several tears and holes in it. D-did I do that? He had always been careful with his tail. That and his necklace. How did it get holes.. "Wow Eleroo you look pretty cool." Flinching slightly he turns to face Veir, head tilting back to keep Seek's helmet from falling into his eyes. I look, cool? He sure felt like some kind of mutant Grimer.. "T-thank you." He mutters quietly. He never had decided what he wanted to evolve into. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad once he was clean. At least, he hoped.

The Aiveon is sick of standing and feeling as through she is about to be blown over at any moment and finally sits on a moderately clean patch of grass. "If the birds are coming back we need a place to shelter. We could probably barricade the station and there's a sunken tram a while back. All we can do is pray the birds don't get here first." A worm of disgust crawls through her belly. That tram car was god awful and the last thing she wanted to return to. The station was a better shelter but.. There is no way in hell I want to go back in there. That thing may be gone but its presence lingered in the building. "Y-Yes. Shelter from birds would be wise unless one of us is capable of taking the upperhand fearlessly." The upperhand against birds? Seek flapped her new wings forcefully, "You're one to talk, Mr. fully evolved flying lizard." She may be able to fly now, not that she had any practice with it, but being so new at it would put her at a definite disadvantage if she even remotely tried to fight the flock.

The Aiveon's massive ears quiver. They were being watched. Jumping back to her paws and taking a defensive stance she signals to Eleroo to stand in formation with her. Reluctantly he follows suit, standing at her side and forcing himself to be ready for whatever was about to attack them. "Be you friend or foe?" The Radeon's red eyes go wide. That voice.. those words.. it couldn't be, could it? A.. is that a human voice? It seems almost foreign.. is it actually a human after all this time?? They.. are still around? Moving like a Pokemon possessed the Radeon slowly padded forward. "Friend.." He says as little more then a whisper before chirping, "Friend friend yes!" His flat, heavy tail flopping as a failed wag. "Hello!" "STOP." Seek roars behind him, making a leap so graceful and light it was like the wind had moved her instead. She lands in front of him and effectively stops his forward motion. Pressing her face nearly into him she orders, "Stay back." Before turning to the brush. Narrowing her blue eyes the finally growls, ".....Friend."

"There are no beautiful vixen here, Giddy! Shall we move on?~" The Ninetales seems reluctant to stay. Well choosing to risk coming across the birds was his own decision to make but with that attitude Vier doubts they'll survive long.
"Good riddance." Seek calls after them.
The change of form that has come over her is truly impressive but it hasn't seemed to sweeten her attitude. Vier just hopes that rescuing her has been enough to convince her that Zhen isn't a danger.
"Y-Yes. Shelter from birds would be wise unless one of us is capable of taking the upperhand fearlessly." The Charizard muses.
"You're one to talk, Mr. fully evolved flying lizard." The Aiveon bites back.
Despite his dislike for the older of the two Vier has to agree.
"It's not your skill that's the problem, it's the numbers. They're like a school of airborne Carvanha. They'll wear you down first then eat you." The Cubone recites, remembering what Zhen had taught him back when the Weavile had a tongue. "Plus all it takes is one cut..." The Ground Type's voice cracks and he forces himself to regain his composure. "We would need to work together and I doubt we can make a good enough plan in time."

The Weavile pricks up his feathery ears. A slow wheezing breath leaves the space left in his bandages, forming a small plume of icy cold air. He hears a noise, subtle, that slips through his brain without engaging a response. Then there is a louder noise, a rustling noise of something moving leaves. With the slowness of a zombie in a human horror movie he turns towards the place where the noise had been coming from. Prey? Danger? He blinks the one blood-red eye not covered by the strips of ragged cloth. Acting on pure instinct his lips draw back to reveal his needle-like fangs still bloodied from his last meal.
The exposed flesh of his gums is the dark color of decaying flesh and speckled with spots of diseased purple but the fangs themselves are still solidly set in place.
He hisses at the emerging figure but his decaying brain can't categorize it. Certain pokemon you chased and some you stood your ground and fought. He can't match this silhouette to anything. In confusion he stays half-crouched with his mouth a feral blood-rimmed snarl and waits for there to be some order, some sign of what to do.

"Be you friend or foe?" The words aren't in the human language but as soon as Vier sees what Zhen has been growling at he loses his composure.
There is a human standing there and for a moment under the poor lighting Vier's brain projects what he wants to see onto the shape of the girl.
"Mom?" The word catches in his throat, he chokes on it as tears start to trail down the mask he wore, the same mask that proved it could never be her.
He blinks away the blurring tears and sees that it isn't the person it could never be but he desperately wished it could. Their voices didn't sound the same and mother hadn't been that young for years but he hadn't seen another human since ...The cubone wipes the tears off his bone helmet with the back of his hand. This was embarrassing breaking down in front of everyone. He had to be stronger than this.
Zhen's growling increases in volume and his hooked claws twitch.
"Sshhhh." Vier strokes the fur of the Weavile's head until the growls fade into silence. "It's o.k. Zhen."
Turning towards the human he forces his voice to remain level.
The color of their hair was the exact same...
    "We're Friend if you are."

    Great Marsh|Afternoon (13)

Shenron bit his tongue until there was blood to keep from unleashing all Moltres's fury on the odd little Eeveelution. Instead a scary near pained grin came across his snout. "Yes what you say is true little... One. My flying would make no difference against a horde" Shenron grumbled that at least he could fly without what looked like it would need unnecessary corgi butt wiggling. He turned his head quickly hearing the bushes rustle. What now? Oh his various Gods... A human? That's a human! But that was not Baloo... His fully functional eye seemingly scanned the human over and over further setting in stone it wasn't her even though his damaged eye silently pleaded for it to be her. "A human... M-Milady... You grace us with your divine presence." He simply meant that her being here gave him hope. Perhaps Baloo was out there looking for him, Daigo and the others. The great Charizard fell to his knees and bowed his head as deeply ingrained was it to never glare down at a lady.

"Y-Yes. Shelter from birds would be wise unless one of us is capable of taking the upperhand fearlessly." At the chorus of agreements that followed her initial remark, the young mouse releases a heavy sigh of relief that they can all come to the same conclusion: they need to find shelter. The faint distant caws did nothing to alleviate the stress weighing down on her mind, battered body instinctively flinching whenever the birds call particularly loud, and standing around in the open only spikes her fear higher. What if something else finds them, all grouped up together here? How many casualties will appear then?

The Ninetales and Persian take their leave, which only manages to bring out a conflicted expression in the child. Larger groups attract more attention, yes, but those two did look competent and useful...

"Be you friend or foe?" A sudden foreign voice rings in the clearing, Molly immediately snapping her head to wear she hears the bushes rustle only to be wide-eyed and shocked by what she sees. A...person? Human? Both eeveelutions immediately voice that they are no enemies--the Cubone mentioning something about a mother before agreeing with the others. The Charizard spoke in odd formalities--are humans that divine? Are humans such objects of reverence?

Her voice is no louder than a whisper, a soft mumbled agreement with the others as she thins her dirtied fur as if to make herself seem smaller. "...Friend."

With one eye trained on his misbehaving Brother, Ezio's ears flickered as he listened into the conversation and surrounding area. "There are no beautiful vixen here, Giddy!" Risking the moment to glance at the crippled Ninetails, the Umbreon watched silently as the duo started wandering off.

"Shall we move on?~" Ezio's eyes narrowed. With the two of them as they were, he doubted they'd get far. If they've gotten this far with those disabilities, I'll give them the benifit of the doubt. He thought, shaking out his fur and beckoning to Ace with his tail. "Good riddance." As much as the Umbreon disliked the Aiveon's tone towards them, he had to agree. Those two would of been nothing but trouble. "Wow Eleroo you look pretty cool."

Ace came to stand beside Ezio, his jaws firmly shut. He didn't want to speak out, lest he get more than just a verbal lashing next time. He did not miss the Umbreon's glance up at him, furthering his silence for that moment. Why do we have to stick with these commoners? They know not of our Creed, yet Ezio feels the need to stay with them. I'd understand if it was for one of our targets, but we haven't been assigned anything since the fall of the Guild... He thought, eyes narrowing as the Absol sorted through his thoughts, trying to understand what his superior thought to do by staying with this group.

Ezio blinked, dragging his gaze from Ace to stay concentrated on the conversation at hand. "If the birds are coming back we need a place to shelter. We could probably barricade the station and there's a sunken tram a while back. All we can do is pray the birds don't get here first." Birds..? He had heard birds when they first arrived, but for them to be causing a problem would mean there was a large amount of them.

"Y-Yes. Shelter from birds would be wise unless one of us is capable of taking the upperhand fearlessly." His ice blue eyes flickered over to the Charizard, glancing at their form. Being a fully evolved pokemon, they would have a good chance if they were to get into a fight, but what were the numbers of their opponent? There were too many variables that the Assassin did not know. "You're one to talk, Mr. fully evolved flying lizard." Ezio rolled his eyes while Ace scoffed.

"Just because someone is fully evolved, does not mean they are capable of taking out a horde." Ezio had to agree with his fellow Assassin in this case. They did not know the numbers of their opponent, and if these birds attacked, they would have the upperhand. "It's not your skill that's the problem, it's the numbers. They're like a school of airborne Carvanha. They'll wear you down first then eat you." The cubone's words were worrying, to say the least.

"Yes what you say is true little... One. My flying would make no difference against a horde" Ezio nodded. "Not to mention, in a place like this, certain attacks would be useless. Trees are a natural obstical that can also be a danger later if they are set on fire." He added, glancing back to Ace, who had decided sitting back behind him was the best course of action in their conversation.

"Plus all it takes is one cut..." Turning his head back to the conversation, Ezio frowned. He knew that from when his Guild had been overrun. The two Assassins had been in their fair share of battles to know how deadly a single cut could be. "We would need to work together and I doubt we can make a good enough plan in time." Ezio nodded. "And we'd need to be able to trust each other enough to even make a plan, otherwise everyone will be to on edge to fight properly."

Ezio's ears twitched. Something was nearby. His eyes narrowed and he looked around, muzzle set in a frown. I wonder who - or what - it might be... He thought, claws flexing in anticipation. Maybe it was the birds?

    "Be you friend or foe?"

Ezio froze. That was... That was a human's voice. "Mom?" His eyes swept back and forth, before they rested on a neaby bush. How had they not noticed the human before? His tail flicked back and forth carefully, ears turned to the group."Sshhhh." The cubone sounded to be calming the undead weavile. "It's o.k. Zhen." Ezio stopped himelf from glaring at the ground type. They still had no idea if the human was going to attack them. "Friend.." This time it was the Radeon who spoke. "Friend friend yes!" An odd slap sounded after which Ezio placed as the Radeon's failed attempt as a wagging tail. "Hello!" His fur bristled as they purple eeveelution stepped forward to greet the human. "STOP." The Umbreon would of flinched if he had trained himself not to. "Stay back." It was a wise order, one that Ezio was sure that the Radeon would follow, since the two had such a strong bond.

".....Friend." With the Aiveon's acceptance, Ezio's fur lay flat again. "We're Friend if you are." One by one, their group confirmed that they were friend. "A human... M-Milady... You grace us with your divine presence." Divine presence? Ezio rolled his eyes. The Charizard was an odd one, that was for sure. "...Friend." That was the azurill. Ezio glanced back at Ace, who had been silent. The Absol's one functioning eye was wide, and his stature was stiff.  Ezio's eyes narrowed.

Ace blinked, his eyes wide as he observed the human. Why is there a human here? What do they want? Why are they here of all places? He thought, thinking back to when their Guild had been attacked. The humans there had done nothing to help them, and even when Ezio's trainer was slaughtered, they still did nothing. So why was there one here now? Are they like them? Are they going to ditch us when the going gets tough? Or maybe they'll be like my trainers and they'll be a cruel, heartless bitch. The Absol's legs were shaking as his thoughts churned up hate for the humans that had abandoned them, the humans that had tortured him. As far as he was concerned, the only human that was remotely good, was Ezio's trainer - and he was dead now, so what good was that? A growl built up in the Absol's throat. Well, may as well get rid of a backstabber before they had a chance to move.

Just as Ezio moved to stop the Absol, Ace sprung. The Absol leapt at the human, but was cut short when A Shadow Ball slammed into his side, sending him flying into a tree as his course was abrubtly changed. He went to get up when all of a sudden Ezio was pinning him to the tree. "Are you that dense that you would attack the first human we've seen in years? You should be ashamed you pezzo di merda!" He snarled, ignoring Ace's wide eyes as the Absol regarded him with fear. "You will stay at least ten paces away from that human at all times, unless you want to be crippled for disobeying an order. Are we clear?" He snarled, glaring at the Absol who gave the Umbreon a meek nod.

With that, Ezio left Ace alone as the Absol scrambled to his paws and went to sit as far away from thr Umbreon as he could. Ezio glared back at him, growling quietly. "I do apologize for my Brother's actions. He can be very thick-headed. As much as it may seem not, I at least am a friend." He said, his glare never leaving the Absol who made it apparent that he did not want to meet the Umbreon's glare.

    2

Upon receiving an initial positive reaction, Green allowed her tense grip on her concealed weapon to loosen. They all stared at her, as if she were a ghost-- which, to be fair, she really kind of was. There was a mixture of disbelief and wonder, though the human and her hidden Liepard partner's eyes simultaneously locked on the bandaged Weavile. Odd... what was the point of attempting to heal something that was turning? Was that not a waste of resources? As the hissing quieted, she watched warily as the Cubone whispered to it-- "Sshhhh... It's okay, Zhen." Green allowed her eyes to take in the rest of the group's reactions. She knew that telling Kitty to be prepared would both be already known information as well as breaking her cover.

"Friend.." one of the others added in quickly, almost seeming to test the word on his tongue. The trainer turned, watching as the Radeon bounded forward, his entire demeanor overjoyed, excited, as he barked, "Friend friend yes! Hello!" Boisterous but harmless enough, Green allowed herself to stand, straightened up as the poison fox called out. With a flick of her wrist, Kitty straightened beside her at the signal. The pair shuddered, recoiling at the sharp cry when the other unheard of Eeveelution bellowed an order at her companion.

"STOP." The girl showed her teeth in a feral display, tensing her arm once more, prepared to retaliate with the machete if necessary. The Aiveon had bounded over the other, landing in front of him to growl, "Stay back." before addressing Green herself. The cold, hard look in the feathered cat contradicted her response: ".....Friend."

Kitty growled from her side, silenced by her trainer's hand placed on her hide. "Easy," she warned, met only with a curt nod in response. The Cubone and Azurill slowly responded, earning a respectful nod from Green. "I mean no harm to you. We are just passing through," she explained in a low tone, lest those birds had 'friends'.

Her thoughts were distracted by the response from the Charizard, the tall lizard bowing. Her eyes flashed with suspicion, but all he said was, "A human... M-Milady... You grace us with your divine presence."

One shared look with Kitty confirmed they were both thinking the same thing: Divine? Shaking her head, Green merely remained unresponsive to the fire type as she had no idea how to respond. "I understand if some of you are hostile, but can we please refrain from yelling? I came here through a flock of undead and I would rather not attract more--" She was interrupted by a growl, whipping around in time to see one of the dark pair airborne. Green's eyes went wide with shock, watching in almost slow motion as the Absol's claws aimed at her through the air. Kitty spat, already bounding forward to intercept, but she was beaten to the punch. The white feline was nailed in the side with a dark sphere, slamming against a tree. Green showed her teeth again, taking a stance as she held up her long blade. "Attacking me wouldn't be a wise idea, prick," she threatened. Her Liepard was still standing protectively in front of her trainer, eyes burning into the two dark types.

As they watched, the Umbreon spat in the other's face, clearly infuriated as the larger of the two flinched from his words. "You will stay at least ten paces away from that human at all times, unless you want to be crippled for disobeying an order. Are we clear?" the vulpine ended, nearly spitting in the other's face. Despite his words, though, neither of the pair dared relax. Green's gaze flickered to the others. Would they attack, too?

"Do not try such foolishness again, pup," Kitty snarled viciously. "No one will touch my trainer."

Green remained in her pose as the Umbreon turned back to them. After such a display, he proved to be much more civil towards her-- "I do apologize for my Brother's actions. He can be very thick-headed. As much as it may seem not, I at least am a friend."

Pausing for a moment, Green looked at the others before landing back on the Umbreon. The sulking Absol was the only one openly about to attack. The others, at least, seemed docile enough. She put her arms down, leaving her core unprotected as she risked a second attack on her life from the group. "...Kitty, it's alright. Down." The Liepard reacts smoothly, turning to walk behind her trainer's legs and place herself at her side. The emerald eyes never left the Absol. "As stated, I mean no harm. My name is Green, and I'm really just seeing if there's any shelter nearby." She looked to the weird boxcar structures nearby. "Not even a Sinnoh native... no idea where we're even at," she admitted in a mutter.

    The Great Marsh | Afternoon
    Eleroo 49 | Seek 40

"I mean no harm to you. We are just passing through," The Radeon stretched and pushed his neck up as much as he could, trying to see past the taller Aiveon to the human that stnad beyond. Excitement coursed through his purple pelt. It was a human, a human there before him! It'd been so long since he had seen one let alone be so close or acknowledged by one. The others replied with friend as well but it seemed only he was happy about it? Why does everyone seem so reluctant? It was just a human, a trainer by the look of it! They were a good thing but everyone, even Seek, was hesitating like it could be a trap. Thats impossible. Humans were good, they were always good. "I understand if some of you are hostile, but can we please refrain from yelling? I came here through a flock of undead and I would rather not attract more--" She had also had to fight through the flock to get here? It seemed those darn birds were causing trouble fo- !! What was the Absol guy doing?! "No, s-stop!" The Radeon wails, stepping around Seek as she stamped her paws into the ground spitting, "You spike-headed fool!"

However, the other eeveelution took care of it before the unspeakable could happen. You never attack your trainer. That was law, that was the code. The Dark Type pair.. they had items of some sort. Were you human owned? Yet he still attacked this girl for no reason what so ever?? "Attacking me wouldn't be a wise idea, prick," Completely moving himself in front of the Aiveon Eleroo's red eyes shine with an odd fury. "You-! You never at humans, you never are to harm them." He spits with a hate, a seriousness that was both not him and not becoming for the quiet Poison Type. "You will stay at least ten paces away from that human at all times, unless you want to be crippled for disobeying an order. Are we clear?" Crippling? Now that was a bit too far, even for such an unspeakable act. But then.. what is? The anger fades from his pelt, mind going blank as he regains himself. An outburst..? That was so unlike him. Dropping his head Eleroo takes his place somewhat behind Seek once one as he tries to comprehend what he had just done.

Seek stood there bristling inside but showing nothing but narrowed, sky blue eyes as she watched the human intently. "...Kitty, it's alright. Down." Kitty? What a cute name. "As stated, I mean no harm. My name is Green, and I'm really just seeing if there's any shelter nearby." Again with this shelter gap. Why was everyone here looking to find a shelter in the middle of a freaking bog? "I doubt you would like what is here." She retorts, thinking of her own trainers hatred for anything dirty. What would she think o this place.. "Not even a Sinnoh native... no idea where we're even at," With a flick of her large ears, and once again remembering that her helmet was not atop her head, and flapping her tails the Aiveon shifted slightly before giving a cool reply. "Yeah well, neither are we." "Hoenn," Eleroo squeaks quietly before silencing himself.
"Yeah, anyway. There are shelters out here though I wouldnt call a marsh the best place to make a hideout." Angling with her head the Aiveon points to the station area not too far behind them. "We kinda burst a lot of holes in that one and it would take some work to repair it to a.. safe standard. But ey, its large enough for us all." The door, the ceiling, even the walls would need to be fixed. A shudder runs along her spine. She really didn't want to call that shelter. I just want out of this damn place. Why was she even offering shelter to the human? The question answered itself. "There is also a tram car not too too far away from here. Its ready to go but small and.. nasty." The moldy seats and dusty feeling still clings to her pads. Turning away from the human the Aiveon cast her gaze back. She.. didn't even know if wanted the girl to hang around them or not. Longing for her past trainer and the old horror of her death pang in her heart. The sounds of the Pokemon.. the birds, echo in her large ears.. She didn't want that to happen again. After a moment she speaks rather coldly, "Have at it."

The Great Marsh X Early Afternoon X (34)

"I mean no harm to you. We are just passing through," The human starts to speak.
"I understand if some of you are hostile, but can we please refrain from yelling? I came here through a flock of undead and I would rather not attract more--"
A growl from behind causes the Cubone to tightly grip one half of his club, keeping it raised with the pointed end up ready to stab whatever undead had snuck up on them...Only to find that it was the absol who had tried to attack, only to be swiftly cut down by his dark-type companion.
"Attacking me wouldn't be a wise idea, prick," The human bites back and the Liepard, a pokemon that seemed to be all sleek fur and muscle, snarled back in a clear challenge.
"You-! You never at humans, you never are to harm them." Eleroo spits with real venom in his now red eyes. Vier is surprised at the sudden violence of the outburst; Eleroo had more spine that he had thought.
Zhen shifts underneath him and adds his own hiss of threat to the proceedings with a show of his sharp fangs. His long hooked claws flex as he hisses defiance at the Liepard, the human, the Absol, anyone that looked like they might turn out to be a threat.
"You will stay at least ten paces away from that human at all times, unless you want to be crippled for disobeying an order. Are we clear?" The Umbreon orders.
Vier watches the recalcitrant Dark Type with wary eyes. He raises his bone a fraction, just enough to show off that it comes to a stabbing point at the end and it has recently been used. Both the head of the club and its jagged point have a rust red smear of blood across them.

    Zhen is not calm.
His red eye framed with hanging bandages focuses intently on the Liepard as the closest target. He flexes his long claws again. Their cutting edge is already red with freshly spilled blood. The sound that bubbles from his jaws is the kind of growl that starts in the back of one's throat and ends up in the back of someone else's. His teeth show marbled with blood as he hunches down in a position from which he can sprint forwards the easiest and start to rend with his claws. It is a defensive stance; waiting for someone to make the first wrong move.
"...Kitty, it's alright. Down." The Liepard obediently settles down but her eyes still hold distrust for them. Vier quickly strokes the Weavile's head and whispers calming words into the Ice-Type's ears until he settles to his usual watchful stance. His red eye gleams with wariness rather than it's usual blankness. He is still on edge.
"As stated, I mean no harm. My name is Green, and I'm really just seeing if there's any shelter nearby."
"I doubt you would like what is here." Seek is quick to say what Vier is thinking but it echoes emptily in Zhen's ears.
All he hears is the howling of the winter wind through the pines.
"Yeah, anyway. There are shelters out here though I wouldnt call a marsh the best place to make a hideout."
"It's mud as far as the eye can see and there are still birds out there." Vier agrees. "You'll be hard pressed to find any space to rest. Zhen can patch things up real quick but we'll probably need some food or something."

    Great Marsh|Afternoon (14)

Shenron grumbled stomping over to a tree and pulling a branch off to scratch his back. What else could he do? In this group of what appeared to be children, no one would bother with been there done that. While they sat around and shot the breeze, the loud caws of birds seemed to get louder. In his heart, he remembered when he was stolen by a Fearow as a tiny Charmander so there was a part of him that shivered and shook its claws at the thought of a lot of birds. Though his Flamethrower would de-feather them... These were times he wished he had Daigo perched on his shoulder. The little Pikachu's destructive Thunder attack would send those birds crying back to Hell. Completely missing the Pikachu and the conversation altogether...

Ace glared at the others as they all shouted their protests, his one working eye narrowing dangerously. "No, s-stop!" His lip curled, and a low growl formed in the back of his throat, but it was quickly silenced when Ezio glanced back to glare at him. "You spike-headed fool!" With a quiet hiss, Ace glared at the Aiveon, almost challenging them to try and attack him. If you knew my reasoning, you would attack too He thought, looking back at the trainer, his fur spiking up as he looked at them.

"Attacking me wouldn't be a wise idea, prick," Ace growled quietly, but his eyes were trained on their Liepard. They had raced forward to protect their trainer. A vain effort on their part, but that could mean two things. His thoughts churned up unhappy memories, which the Assassin pushed back stubbornly. No, now was not the time for that. "Do not try such foolishness again, pup," Ace returned the cat's glare, but his jaws stayed firmly shut. He gritted his teeth, trying to to speak out. "No one will touch my trainer." Ace tasted blood - he had bitten his gums. The Absol grimaced at the taste. His own blood didn't taste as good as other blood.

"You-! You never at humans, you never are to harm them." Ezio glanced back at the Radeon. With a poison type around, Ezio would have to keep Ace on a tight leash. The Absol seemed to have bad ideas around poison types. He got to his paws, walking over to stand next to Ace. The uncomfortable glance that the Absol send Ezio was not lost on the Umbreon. Good. If he stays weary of me it'll make my job easier. He thought, his gaze sweeping over their group.

"...Kitty, it's alright. Down." The vulpine's gaze looked over to the Liepard. He took note of how they stood, anything that might be of interest. They certainly looked strong, and the way they jumped in front of their trainer to defend against Ace was enough to tell Ezio that they didn't fear much. The corners of his mouth twitched in a smile. With the Liepard keeping an eye on their own trainer, he could focus mainly on making Ace behave.

"As stated, I mean no harm. My name is Green, and I'm really just seeing if there's any shelter nearby." Ezio nodded, looking back up at Green "I am Ezio, and my misbehaving Brother is Ace, mia signora" Ezio said, his ear flicking towards the Aiveon as they began to speak. "I doubt you would like what is here." The Umbreon chuckled quietly. There wasn't much in the way of shelter anywhere really, much less a bog like this one. "Not even a Sinnoh native... no idea where we're even at," That made Ezio blink. Why were they here if they did not know where they were? "Yeah well, neither are we." The Umbreon rolled his eyes. There were quite a few of them who didn't know where they were. "Hoenn,"

"You're far from home. As far as I know, this is The Great Marsh, we're close by to Pastoria City." Ezio explained, looking around. "Though with all these trees, it's hard to tell which direction we're facing." He added, glancing up at the darkening sky. It was growing close to night.

"Yeah, anyway. There are shelters out here though I wouldnt call a marsh the best place to make a hideout." Ezio nodded, listening into what the Aiveon had to say. His gaze travels to the shelter that the flying type had motioned to. "We kinda burst a lot of holes in that one and it would take some work to repair it to a.. safe standard. But ey, its large enough for us all." Even from here, Ezio could see the holes that had been mentioned. It would take a lot of work to fix those. "There is also a tram car not too too far away from here. Its ready to go but small and.. nasty."

Ezio blinked. Nasty..? Surely there were worse shelters, though with the Aiveon's white fur, he could see how the tram being 'nasty' would be a problem. It honestly didn't bother the Umbreon. When they were sent on missions, they had been camping in many less-than-desirable places.

"It's mud as far as the eye can see and there are still birds out there." Ace finally looked up from where his gaze had stubbornly drifted to his paws. The Absol refused to meet either Green's or Ezio's gaze, instead looking at the shelter. "You'll be hard pressed to find any space to rest. Zhen can patch things up real quick but we'll probably need some food or something." Finally, the Absol decided to try and take his brother's route. "As much as I don't want to, I can help with patching up that shelter, and finding food." He muttered, but made sure it was loud enough for their group to hear.

Ezio narrowed his eyes. "In which case, if Ace goes out to find food, I will stay with him. He won't act out and misbehave so long as I'm around. Isn't that right, Ace?" He said, glaring at the Absol for good measure. The Disaster Pokemon glanced away quickly, not meeting the Umbreon's glare. "Yes Brother..." He mumbled, frowning as he looked away. The Absol hated to show himself as submissive, but he knew that he would pay for it if he went against an order from his superior.

    |The Great Marsh|Afternoon|1

The dual type keeping to the tree tops, skittering from branch to branch. Long dagger like claws gripping the bark for a sure grip, just coming out a city into this. " Well isn't this just great, go from steets of stone to a bloody bog of some sort." stopping on the tree to look down as the swamp mush. The ice type sighed " Took a wrong turn some where then, it's so gross here like arcues's out house grinning to herself with pointed fangs. Kiran continued to cross in the tree lines, as much as she could. Coming to a lack of trees along the out rim of the marsh, a flock of birds of something gathering above then flew over not seeing her. Kiran raised a eyebrow before continuing down a different path away from where the birds went.

Taking a break on a thick branch sitting down, picking bark from her claws. I've already had enough of this shit hole, just want to go home and relax in a nice cool place again. her ears perking to voice's in the near distance. Pulling herself up a little, still partly bent over. Turning to the sound "well, well look's like someone else found them selves in the ass crack of the world" curious she pulls herself closer. "- help with patching up that shelter, and finding food.", Kiran listens a little closer unseen just yet being a little distance away. " - He won't act out and misbehave so long as I'm around. Isn't that right, Ace?". Kiran has to get a little closer now with the mention of food and shelter feeling a little hungry.

"Yes Brother...", there close enough to listen in and look closer at the two talking. What luck they seemed to not be bat shit crazy unlike other pokemon she's comes across and even better she has a name. The sleek white pokemon absol looked a little beat up, but human items. ' Wonder if those will be worth stealing' leaning in a little more, and a umbreon both wearing a odd red bands sharing similar icon. 'Gang pokemon?' turning now to some other pokemon she couldn't quite fully see. Human legs, "Human!" leaning to far forward and the branch snaps dumping the dual type into the gunk. "Oh bugger it then", pulling herself out of the goop.

Getting a better view of the party at hand, Kiran raised her claws up over her head as much as she could. " Aye, ya' got me. I couldn't help but over hear a few juicy tidbits on delicious information and I had to come check it out myself. Food and shelter? in this out house of a place?" remaining where she was. Eyes strolling the group, but settling on the human and her pokemon. Giving a tooth smirk "A trainer out here? maybe you should have chosen a different get up then for tracking through these parts." Tilting her head at green choice of clothing.

    The Great Marsh | Evening
    Eleroo 50 | Seek 41

"It's mud as far as the eye can see and there are still birds out there." A feeling like ants in her pelt trickles along the Aiveon's spine. She had almost forgotten her old problem with birds until today. Today just felt like smacking in her face like a dead fish. "You'll be hard pressed to find any space to rest. Zhen can patch things up real quick but we'll probably need some food or something." Letting her blue eyes flick the Weavile the Flying Type's face twists with disgust. Putting that thing to work? Like that would go well. However, food.. a bubble pops in her stomach, still ill feeling from her thoughts and the overripe berry she had forced herself to down. "Im not sure what food you would find in a swamp. Or least not something you'd willingly want." Shes states her honest opinion. "Roots?" The Radeon mused softly. Seek groans but then laughs gently, actually smiling at such a suggestion. "Like you would go digging in that swamp water, let alone eat a root." Eleroo parts his jaws to argue but falls back realizing she was right. He smiles as well.

"As much as I don't want to, I can help with patching up that shelter, and finding food." Rolling her sky-colored eyes the Aiveon wont even look at the Absol. "If you  sooo dont want to you could always leave." That other pair left, why didn't these guys follow? "In which case, if Ace goes out to find food, I will stay with him. He won't act out and misbehave so long as I'm around. Isn't that right, Ace?" The Absol's 'misbehavior' was not what concerned her but if they- There is a rustle then a snap, they were being watched! Seek's massive ears turn instantly toward the noise and watch as something falls from a nearby tree. "Oh bugger it then" Dropping slightly to a more defensive position the Aiveon bares her fangs and growls.

The thing pulls itself into a standing position, irritated and well aware its cover had been blown by its own stupidity. " Aye, ya' got me. I couldn't help but over hear a few juicy tidbits on delicious information and I had to come check it out myself. Food and shelter? in this out house of a place?" Eleroo looked the Pokemon up and down curiously. It looked a lot like Zhen except less feathers and her eyes held a distinctively not-blank gaze. "Who are you?" He questions the Pokemon. Though he is not usually one to be suspicious its straight-forward approach to mooch off them was unnerving. "Whats it to you? An ease-dropper has no right to our spoils." The Aiveon replies much more coldly. "You get food for yourself."
The Radeon's gaze dropped. Seek was being feisty again and he knew that tone all too well. She was gonna start picking fights if something good didn't happen soon. "Seek-" He tries but is instantly cut off. "We need to get any shelter set up soon. The sunlight wont last forever and I will not be out her in the dark." Her gaze sweeps over the Cubone, the Charizard, and even the human. "If you have to have food first then we must hurry." Nodding the Radeon slinks closer to his friend, as submissive as ever but holding his stance a bit prouder then normal. There was something different about Seek. Her wants were selfish as usual but they were still good for the group. She was being considerate for once and he could almost call her.. kind. Pride welled in the Radeon's heart. "Let's start right away!" He purrs, wanting to keep the momentum going.

The Great Marsh X Early Afternoon X (35)

"Im not sure what food you would find in a swamp. Or least not something you'd willingly want." Seek points out. "Roots?" Eleroo suggests. The Aiveon laughs.
"Like you would go digging in that swamp water, let alone eat a root."
"There's always berries." Vier points out in his most pragmatic tone. No matter where he went there were always berries. How edible they were was another matter.
"As much as I don't want to, I can help with patching up that shelter, and finding food." The Absol mutters, barely audible. Vier's stubby fingers tighten on the hilt of his bone club. At this point he trusts Seek a lot more than he trusts the weird white-furred dark type. If they try to hurt Zhen...He's going to put the pointy end of his bone straight through its eye and into its brain, regardless of what the Umbreon had to say about it.
"Welcome to the team then." His tone drips with sarcasm.
"If you sooo dont want to you could always leave." Seek mirrors his opinion.
It's an unusual day when they end up agreeing. Perhaps in other circumstances Vier would be trying to be nicer to the newcomers but...after that Sceptile they've earned the right to be paranoid.
"In which case, if Ace goes out to find food, I will stay with him. He won't act out and misbehave so long as I'm around. Isn't that right, Ace?" The Umbreon is quick to add in.
Vier's grip on the bone loosens. With the four of them co-operating they could probably find enough food to feed everyone there...except all the humans Pokemon. It wasn't like the marshland was a smorgasbord of food. If the group wanted to eat, they'd have to find a more sustainable source of food. For now there would be fish in some of these pools and there would be berries. That should be enough.
A branch snaps and a speck of dark fur falls into the mud beside them. A glow forms around the nose of Vier's mask as he prepares an Ice Beam.
    The pokemon straightens up.
" Aye, ya' got me. I couldn't help but over hear a few juicy tidbits on delicious information and I had to come check it out myself. Food and shelter? in this out house of a place?"

The Weavile was content to wait. His clawed hands dangle loosely at his sides and his red eye is glazed over and unfocused. On occasion the tip of the bone club or one tan foot will dip into his vision as Vier talked but the words that were not addressed to him blended into the white noise of the snow storm.
The delusions of his decaying mind painted the swamp into the frozen tundra. He was cold, he could feel the icy wind blow through his fur and numb his limbs as the snowstorm billowed around him and turned everything to white.
The snow devoured everything, even the thin shadows of trees. Even his own footprints.
    Had he even been moving?
The crack of a breaking branch causes one feathery ear to flicker. He shifts in place, turning his head towards the sound. His nose picks up a familiar scent that causes his pupil to contract. His mouth opens, red tainted saliva oozing past his needle like fangs.
He knows that smell and he knows that shape. His delusion turns the splatters of mud into clinging white snow.
    Sneasel.
    Sneasel
Moving without giving warning to the small ground type perched on his back he leaps forwards. His mouth opens wide, patches of purple still visible through the thin layer of blood over his gums and teeth.
The bandages dangle lose as he crouches over defensively and draws breath. Not here. Not his forest! Not his Vier!
"GRRRRRRAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOORRRRR!" He roars in the Sneasel's face.

    Great Marsh|Afternoon (15)

Shenron watched the Weavile carefully. Somehow it's erratic movements were kept controlled. But really every living cell in his body said to kill it. Put it out of it's misery even if it didn't seem miserable. Dead cells... Consuming flesh no matter what it was... How did some put it? Eat Poison type flesh and be spared from the virus. That didn't work. Shenron could make it quick... Just squeeze the little ice type's body enough to draw quick strangled breaths before rotating his dew claws to crush inwards causing shock to maybe dull the pain before trauma and internal bleeding caused death. It was a mercy kill really. Shenron snorted wanting to interject that he had seen some Oran berry trees but as he wasn't being addressed in any of these conversations he only let out a faint rumble.

It was... so quiet. He was so ill. He always felt so sick. The Harbinger dragged his paws through the muck, not even bothering to clean himself. His fur thin, unclean, the color distorted to disgusting means. While he had no visible wounds, the Eevee was small, tiny in comparison to others of his species, and he looked frail to go with it. But there was something to be feared, as he was no ordinary, weak undead.

The fox pulled himself forward, illness mixing with infection within him. "So... so sick.." he moaned. His eyes half closed, the Harbinger heard the rising sounds of voices. He instinctively moved towards them, catching his attention. "Sick... they will help.."

As he approached, though, he found himself in  dirtier place than usual. The mud was no longer brown, but a sickly green. Eevee did not care, moving through it without care. He stepped on a piece of ancient stone, but his paws had long since quit feeling. He ignored it, too. Upon seeing the group, though, he recoiled. The roar that came from the other undead shook him. "No... no, I am unwell..."

A sneasel kept talking, more eeveelutions speaking, but one took notice of him. The azurill, trembling with fear, turned her eyes to him. She moved closer to him, which caused the eevee to stare at her with desperate eyes. Round with youth and sunken in with illness and infection. "...Help me, sick... I am sick.."

But she did nothing to help him, the azurill spoke, but the Eevee backed up. Shaking his head, his long ears slammed down to block out the sounds. "No, you don;t understand... I'm sick," he repeated.

But she did nothing. Reassurance, that seemed to be what she tried to say. 'I am sick, too,' did she say that?

    "No... I am sick."

When she continued advancing, the Harbinger's eyes flashed. "Get... BACK!" With a flare of psychic energy, the Azuril had no time to let out a scream before her body imploded from the inside, a sickening pop! filling the air as the eevee stared desperately at the other's, who then had their eyes on him.

There was something he had not anticipated, though: a human. She barked out an order to her companion, a liepard, who let loose a jolt of electricity before he could react. It knocking him backwards, but had no effect. "Why?... Can't you see I am sick?"

His eyes lit up with another psychic blast, but the liepard lashed out, the sucker punch sending his smaller body flying backwards. He screamed, smashing into the stone from earlier, before crashing into the water.

And without warning, his body glowed.

It was several seconds before the newly evolved creature dragged himself out of the water, soaking, his new, violet form matched his mindset. "I told you..." Insect-like crimson eyes locked on the liepard, fear making it's eyes bright before suddenly it's body, too, began convulsing.

The liepard met the same fate of the azurill, exploding in on itself while the rest of its body smacked into the ground with wet chunks. Radeon's eyes savagely ran over the rest of the others before he turned and limped away, his frail body keeping a brisk pace.

"I... I am sick... someone, please... help.."

At the mention of food, the dark Umbreon tried to remember the last time he and Ace had eaten. If it was any time that was recent, he did not recall it. "I'm not sure what food you would find in a swamp. Or least not something you'd willingly want." The umbreon let out a quiet scoff. In this place, you ate what you got. If it was clean, and it gave nourishment, who cares about the taste?

"Roots?" The Radeon's suggestion was a decent one, but as Ezio looked around, any roots that the fox could see were covered in grime and a few other things that even once rinsed off, he wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. "Like you would go digging in that swamp water, let alone eat a root." Although the Umbreon was not in on the joke, it didn't stop him from quietly snickering at it. "There's always berries." His icy gaze flickered over to the Cubone, then around them If there were any berries, he was sure that they had probably fermented by now.

"If you sooo don't want to you could always leave." Ace, now able to focus his attention on looking around for anything, turned his head to glare sidelong at the Aiveon. He let out a quiet growl, but it was barely audible. "Welcome to the team then." Well, at least they were getting somewhere.

Ace's head tilted to the side suddenly, and he stood at the same time as he heard a loud snap above them. Sidestepping out of the way, the Absol watched as a dark form fell down into the mud beside him. "Oh bugger it then" A quick scan over the newcomer that had literally just dropped in told Ace that while they were an idiot, they were clean. "Aye, ya' got me. I couldn't help but over hear a few juicy tidbits on delicious information and I had to come check it out myself. Food and shelter? in this out house of a place?" Rolling his one working eye, Ace looked over to his companion, who was studying the Sneasel much the same way as he had been earlier.

"A trainer out here? maybe you should have chosen a different get up then for tracking through these parts." Ezio frowned. Because that was such a good way to make friends. Come into a group and insult someone. "If you're just here to be rude, you can go elsewhere, idiota."

"Who are you?" It was obvious that the first question would be 'who are you?', but it didn't make the question any less stupid. "What's it to you? An ease-dropper has no right to our spoils." For once, Ezio actually agreed with the Aiveon. A spy would be of no use to them, and would be more trouble than they needed at that moment.

    "You get food for yourself."
    "Seek-"
"We need to get any shelter set up soon. The sunlight wont last forever and I will not be out here in the dark."
"If you have to have food first then we must hurry."
    "Let's start right away!"

Well, at least they were finally getting somewhere. Ace shook out his coat and began to trot off, when a sudden movement caught his eye and he halted, just in time to see the Weavile race towards the duel type.

    "GRRRRRRAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOORRRRR!"

With a quick turn, Ezio was standing in front of the Sneasel, glaring up at Zhen. While they were rude, that gave no warrant for them to be eaten, especially by the resident undead. Without needing to say anything to Ace, the Absol had come to stand beside Ezio, his claws glowing with a dangerous X-Scissor. Now sure that Ace had Zhen handled, Ezio turned to grasp the Sneasel by an arm, making sure not to injure them, the Umbreon then dragged them out of the way of fire. Ace reared up and brought both paws down on the Weavile's face, the powerful bug type move was bound to do at least some damage.

Before Ace could do anything else, a bolt of searing pain travelled down his scythe, and the pain forced a high pitched ring to sound in his head. Something bad was coming.

Then, Ezio got the stench of undead and he turned to warn the youngest pokemon, the Azurill, was being confronted by an Eevee, and this one radiated something sinister.

"No... I am sick." Ezio looked over at Ace, who nodded. Zhen would have to wait. The Absol shot an Ice Beam at the Eevee, but the blue beam missed the normal type by mere millimetres. "Get... BACK!" With a sickening pop the small mouse exploded. Ezio's eyes widened, and his claws unsheathed. A loud snarl emitted from the Eeveelution's throat, and his eyes glowed a dark maroon, almost red color as psychic energy picked up rocks and other sharp objects, hurling them at the Normal type. "Why?... Can't you see I am sick?" Before the Eevee could attack again, the Liepard from before hit the normal type with a Sucker Punch, sending them flying into the water.

From under the water, a muted glow emitted, making the dark types eyes widen. This was bad. The newly evolved Radeon crawled out of the water, it's form a heck of a lot more sickly than was normal for the species. Ezio snarled. "I told you..."

Then, the Liepard began to spasm and convulse. Ezio had only a split second to react, and he did something that was probably not a good idea. He lashed out at the Radeon, and blood red psychic energy crackled from his paws over to the Radeon, but it didn't do enough to break their concentration. The Liepard exploded, coating the Umbreon in gore. Th stench then hit him and the Umbreon almost gagged. Never had he smelt that before.

"I... I am sick... someone, please... help.." It was all Ezio could do to send another bolt of Psychic at the now fleeing Radeon, but the energy fell short, hitting the ground behind them and sending a shower of dirt, stone and mud into the air. The gore from the human's pokemon still covered a lot of Ezio, and when he realized this, his ears fell, and his rings glowed slightly. "I... Mi dispiace... I tried to help, mia signora."

The dual type looked at the group having a better view from down here, and not having the branches obscure her view. Clearly starting with two pokemon she had never seen before would address her first for her misfortune. The small purple one who looked ill was the first. "Who are you?" it would ask, she could ask the same question. Slouching a little her long wicked claws brushing away the muk and goop from her dark fur. Kiran was about to answer, "Whats it to you? An ease-dropper has no right to our spoils." the white one said then. She looked at both of them in turn, and couldn't quite place what they were. " I am just a humble survivor trying to survive in this hell hole as y'all are. If you so desire to give me a name then Kiran is fine." grinning at her own reply oddly enough. "You get food for yourself." the one one snapped quickly. " Sorry am trying to take you serious, but the winged backside is kind'a distraction. Who and what are you supposed to be?"

"We need to get any shelter set up soon. The sunlight wont last forever and I will not be out her in the dark." now turning to the small earth type, a pokemon she can recall. Kiran nods her head in slight agreement. A place to rest and get off her feet sounded nice, and a nice meal sounds even better. But the white feathered fox made it clear she would have to pull her weight for food. ' What a drag already' she thought looking between the rest of the group now. "If you have to have food first then we must hurry.", Kiran scratching the red feathered ear. "Let's start right away!", Kiran looked up with a heavy sigh on her breath. She was going to have to work for her keep in this group, she mumbles a little under her breath.

Eyes turning quickly to a quick movement directly at her as she set up a lazy gaurd, "GRRRRRRAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOORRRRR!" it raored in her face before being grabbed and pulled away. About to ask her 'rescuer' what the big idea was. Looking at the same family line all wrapped up in bloody bandages, a single lifeless eye with hate for no clear reason toward her. Pulling herself away from the grap she was about to ask what the wevile's problem was before seeing the others eyes go wide. "No... I am sick." a soft unsure voice as she looked over following everyone else gaze, seeing the samll blue mouse walking toward a very off looking eevee.

Suddenly the mouse explodes in gore, moving back away from everyone now into the back of the group. Getting out of the fight before it even started not wanting anything to do with, what ever that thing was. Another foolish pokemon tried to attack is, and with similar results. She wasn't going to lift a single claw after seeing another pokemon explode from waht this undead was. As it pulls it's self from the swampy water, it's shape changed. Now similar to the first purple fox thing she saw now. Then it was gone. "I... Mi dispiace... I tried to help, mia signora.", one of them spoke up mourning the loss of a pokemon she didn't even meet. Walking back to the group scratching her arm combing it back down with her claws.

The group beginning to get itself together, Green stepped forward, out of the bushes to join the others in the clearing. No more hostility was directed at her, though the Aiveon seemed less than outwardly friendly, it was something she would take over a lunging Absol any day. The Liepard remained loyally by her side, rubbing her fur along the girl's showing calves. The trainer kept one hand on Kitty's head, rubbing her ears as she merely listened to the others. However, another stranger took the group off guard, Green's eyes narrowing as she placed a hand on the hilt of her weapon.

It proved to be an eavesdropping Sneasel. Kitty frowned at the other cat, but neither made move but to watch. It proved to not be hostile, at least, until it looked at her. There was a dirty look on it's face, something Green immediately wanted to instinctively wipe off. "A trainer out here? Maybe you should have chosen a different get up then for tracking through these parts."

That caught Green by surprise. It was insulting her clothes? Her lips pulled back in a feral smirk of her own. "Yes, please Sneasel, tell me where the nearest shopping mall is so I can change my clothes just to please you." The Liepard snorted quietly as her trainer continued, "But, oh wait, what is that? Oh yeah, it's the end of the world, sweetie, and that means I don't give a flying damn what you think, or anyone else for that matter. I am functional and I have no trouble decapitating undead, like I did the horde of fliers not even ten minutes from here," she growled.

"Be nice to the natives, Green. This one obviously doesn't know better," the Liepard added to the insult of the Sneasel, her voice thick with amusement as her own smirk was turned to the dual type. But the time for games was brought to an immediate halt.

"No... I am sick." Green snapped to action, pulling her machete out without delay as her eyes landed on... a truly heartbreaking sight. An Eevee, clearly far gone and lost to infection. The little Azurill was too close.

Oh no. "No!" She cried, but it was too late.

"Get... BACK!" The Eevee screamed, and instantly, there was nothing left of the small mouse. Oh Gods. Green looked with new found fear at the Eevee as it stared to the rest of them, speaking again. "Why?... Can't you see I am sick?"

"Don't give it a chance-- sucker punch!" she instructed Kitty, the Liepard already charging forward. Her outstretched claws slammed into the small vulpine, and the impact was enough to throw it back. Kitty watched as the body fell into a sickly coloured pool, bile rising in her throat.

"...What... the..." They watched as there was a dull glow from below, and Green's gut clenched. Is it possible--?! But turning to see the other Radeon, her face twisted with horror.

    "Kitty, get back!"

The creature that emerged was some sort of Radeon, alright, but there was a sinister aura to it that was a hair from bringing the human to her knees. But Green was useless, forced to watch along the others as the Liepard suddenly froze, her limbs flailing violently.

    And then death.

Swift, same as the Azurill, Green heard the sound of her partner's body imploding, chunks of her body hitting the ground sloppily. Her cheek suddenly burned, and when Green reached up, red smeared off on her hand. Falling forward, as the Radeon limped away, the trainer impacted on her bare knees. Kitty. Kitty... The shock was too soon, too strong. Her friend had been there one second, and the next...gone.

"I... Mi dispiace... I tried to help, mia signora." The Umbreon. He had attacked, acted even when she faltered. Green turned, her dull, unfocused eyes falling upon the vulpine. Blood also stained his fur, just as it did her own form. She opened her mouth to talk, but nothing came out. Green felt the foreign urge to reach out and stroke the Umbreon's pelt.

After several long seconds though, she blinked, gritted her teeth, and immediately forced herself back to her feet. Green's eyes snapped back opened, releasing a savage look as she gripped her belt, releasing two Pokemon. A Roserade and Talonflame looked to her, awaiting orders, but Green was not slow to give them direction, barking out,  "Flamey- keep watch from above. Nothing gets near without us knowing. Rosy, you take the trees. We need to relocate, lest something like that comes back," she says the last part to the Aiveon in a much gentler tone.

    The Great Marsh | Evening
    Eleroo 51 | Seek 42

The Weavile charged and roared, breaking apart any fun they were having. Seven hells that thing is fast! Her previous doubt about the undead resurfaces. With every outburst they were losing more of it. How long would it be before Veir could no longer control him? "You really need.. to..-" Her words trail off as a voice came to ear that was both skin crawling and unfamiliar, instantly catching her attention along with a sweep of the head. "No... I am sick." Her blue eyes go wide and become round sapphires as the lock on the tiny approaching shape. It.. it was an Eevee but.. there was something seriously wrong with it. "No!" Its body screamed of infection but there was something coming from the creature that made the Aiveon's entire body shudder, as though the tiny fox's entire being screamed 'sinister.' "Get... BACK!" Alarm bells went off, her all her fur and feathers standing on end, but Seek could say not before Molly's insides exploded inside her. The tiny blue scrap of fur collapsed to the ground with now fluid organs oozing out around it, death clear and the scent sudden and pungent. My god.. The female can hardly draw in a breath.

It looked like him. The Eevee looked like he had, the same sickly, weak, scrawny, about-to-die look and it shook Eleroo to his core to see it obliterate the Azurill like it was nothing, like it didn't even mean to. Its not me. Thats not me. Flattening to the ground he sinks his paws into the mud to stop them from shaking but it doesn't help, they just shake harder with the added chill. The Liepard attacked, batting the tiny Eevee away with a wet plop. "He's me.." The Radeon whispers in panicked realization. He couldn't take a hit like that.. he couldn't survive a Liepard attack. Its going to die. Just like he should of.. It was like he was watching himself be killed..
There is a flash of light and Eleroo can no longer breath. "Kitty, get back!" The trainer barks another order but its too late. Another pop followed by several wet slaps echo in his low dragging ears as he watches his third blow-up related murder of the day. He looks up, eyes widening as he see's the mirror image, another sickly Poison Type reborn from the foul slime struggling to stand before them as it continues to murder. "I-its-s m-me." He whines, barely able to breathe, blood pulsing in his veins. Sickly violet fur.. a dead look to its eyes placed into a fragile body.. "I-its me!" He says again, jumping to his paws and whirring around in a panic. "IM THAT?!" He roars at the others as the sick Radeon limps away from them. He had evolved into a demon, a killer, a monster?!

Seek could not answer the panic-stricken Radeon for several moments. What was that thing..? It, she could feel that it wasn't an ordinary Eevee but it.. so much about it reminded her of Eleroo. "Seeeekk!" He wails at her distraught. "I dont want to be that!" It turned into whatever Eleroo was too.. Sickly Eevee's become.. sick killers..? Were they.. related? He whines once more and finally receives a grimace from the Aiveon. "No," She says with a sharp breath inward, "You, you aren't like that." Her reassurance falters as the Radeon's gaze becomes more desperate. "He looked just like I did! Evolved just like I did! Moved like I do! How are we any different?!" The Poison Type takes a step closer while the flier takes one back. Pain shines in his eyes as he retracts the step and hunches into a ball, body shaking as he mutters something to himself. He's not like that. Did he have that kind of power too? "You couldn't kill if you wanted to." The Radeon looks at her for a moment, his red gaze searching, but then drops it back to the ground.

"Flamey- keep watch from above. Nothing gets near without us knowing. Rosy, you take the trees. We need to relocate, lest something like that comes back," The trainer- Green, right?- was trying to change the subject, or move on or.. just keep things together, she didn't know. "Yeah... come on the, stations over here." Her words are slow and spaced apart as her mind fails to catch back up to the present. Maybe Green was just doing the same? "This way." Kicking her helmet back onto her head she moves swiftly, flapping her wings for a little added speed though she wasn't going to try flying again as she made her way back to her previous prison. "We are leaving this godforsaken marsh first thing in the damn morning." It was giving Eevee's a bad name. It was killing Pokemon in sick, sick ways. The god damn Sceptile. Her body shakes at both the thought and the sight of the tram station. Yeah, this marsh was nothing but a hell hole full of death and sick bastards. Pivoting on one paw Seek turns herself around to look back at who was following her. "Okay, both the doors were blown out and a certain Charizard burned a huge hole in the ceiling." Seriously, he couldn't of gone through the door? "Once those all filled in it should be safe for the night.. then we can worry about the broken glass and crap on the inside"

The Great Marsh X Early Afternoon X (36)

Zhen slides back, the harsh metallic smell of fresh snowfall still in his nose as an X Scissor attack scratches across snout. Some of his filthy bandages are severed in the fall and drop to the dirt like pale worms. The claws gouge into skin wrinkled and ridged with scar tissue from many previous slashes. The skin splits along an "X" shaped scratch, the Weavile pulling back in time to avoid losing an eye. The slashes don't bleed much; the thick near black ooze that drips from the scratch is nearly congealed and gums together the edges of the wound like glue.
"Ksssst!" The Ice Type hisses, showing his needle-like teeth and purpled gums. All his bright red eyes can see is snow, endless white snow.
    "No... I am sick."

A tan-furred shape skitters over the marshland. It is mangy, crawling with disease that discolors its shape. In its wanderings it moves too close to the puffy blue body of the Azurill.
    "Get... BACK!"  It screeches.
In the next moment the small normal type pops like a balloon. Vier feels his last meal rise in his throat. Tiny specks of blue hair land on the torn insides. The disgustingly familiar stink of parts of pokemon never meant to see the light of day reaches the small ground type's nose. Zhen's growling takes on a certain edge. The hunger of an undead is waking up in him.
Vier grabs the Dark Type by his sensitive ears and tugs on them hard. He keeps terrified eyes on the Eevee as it starts to levitate several rocks around it with psychic power.
"Why?... Can't you see I am sick?" It croaks.
"Don't give it a chance-- sucker punch!" The human orders and with a solid blow of its mighty paws the Liepard sends the corrupted Eevee into the mud.
The filth boils with an unnatural glow and in a grotesque parody of Eleroo's evolution its body twists and changes.
It bursts out the mud with its body a virulent purple. The same psychic aura as its previous kill began to surround its body.
"Kitty, get back!" The human yells.
The Liepard detonates in a wave of gore that splashes those too close. The newly purple-bodied Eeveelution flees before any further attacks can try and harm it.
"I... Mi dispiace... I tried to help, mia signora." The now gore splattered Unbreon manages to protest.
Vier keeps a strong grip on the Weavile's red ears. The growling takes on a sharper edge at the ripe stink of split intestines.
"Flamey- keep watch from above. Nothing gets near without us knowing. Rosy, you take the trees. We need to relocate, lest something like that comes back," The human gives commands to her other pokemon and Seek tries to take command in case the strange monster is on it's way back. Vier filters out the words. He is busy trying to calm down Zhen. There is too much blood, both dripping into the mud and coating the fur of the nearby pokemon. A fleck of red has even smeared itself across the side of his mask. The Weavile makes a noise partway between cat-purr and chainsaw deep in his throat as his tongue stub wiggles in an attempt to lap up the gore.
"We are leaving this godforsaken marsh first thing in the damn morning."
Vier looks ahead to the tram station.
"Okay, both the doors were blown out and a certain Charizard burned a huge hole in the ceiling. Once those all filled in it should be safe for the night.. then we can worry about the broken glass and crap on the inside"
"Zhen, calm!" Vier snaps in the hopes he can get the Weavile to calm down.
No luck, Zhen was undead and there was fresh meat nearby.

Zhen's rotted brain can't pick up any of the ripe, earthy smells of the marshland. In his head there is only the endless snowfield and the twisted pillars of black that were the trees. Onto this black canvas of snowfall and pine needles was the smell of fresh blood, torn gut, spilling delicious life onto the pale snow. The warmth sweet organ meat with its coating of yellow fat to last him through the winter.
In his imagined tundra he was a hunter, alone in the wilderness. He didn't have any pack beside him to help hunt. The signs hacked into the bark of the trees were all the same sign; a warning against entering this area.
He had to hunt. He had to bring back that delicious, juicy meat to the cave. He could smell it. Smell the gore of a fresh kill, smell the hides of other pokemon and, like a rotten berry on a bush of fresh ones, was the smell of one like himself. Ice and darkness, the scent of the musky fur that was only possessed by the theives.
No, this was his meat to bring back to the den. This was his precious food! The image of the small Cubone, hunched over and waiting for him to come back fills his mind. He roars again.
"UUUUUUURRRRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAA!" The dark type bellows and follows his nose to the scent, scent of blood seeping into the mud. His claws dig in it, dig in around it, not noticing how the blood swirling around his claws is mixed in with mud.
Zhen hunches over the body of Liepard like it was his kill, his twisted lips drawn back from his sharp teeth as he hunkers over the body and bends to take a bite.

((OOC: Permission to approach Kitty's body was given. Permission to harm Zhen (as long as it isn't anything so serious as to require a new profile image) is also given to any and all interested parties))

    Great Marsh|Afternoon (16)

Shenron looked... Really looked where the Azurill had once been. The pale blue of blindness even seemed to contract and dilate like it too wanted to see where the tiny Polka Dot Pokemon was now. A stain... A mess of splattered insides to be picked at by straggling Undead. The branch which held berries in his mouth snapped in two under the weight of his jaws. A part of him was confused. Almost childlike in it's wondering to what had just happened. Anyone would turn away at the sight but Shenron's now pinpoint pupil couldn't un-focus from the spot. "Too young... Far too young" His large draconic paws steadily brushed dirt over the spot before he placed a marsh native flower on top. Stuff like this made him wonder how his own children were doing. Chrys... Ka... Blu... Shiro... His throat clenched painfully at the mention of his poor son Shiro. Regrettably born with pure white scales and a tender heart. He wouldn't be able to hide... Shenron shook his head gathering the dropped berries and frowning. "I'll fix it... Metal roofing can be burned back into place..." He said it so nonchalantly and with no real conviction behind his words. They should know he could fly away and leave them if he so desired and wouldn't lose a bit of sleep over the thought. Not that he really slept anymore... Completely ignoring the Weavile and his Cubone master son he assumed, he really couldn't care for pets undead... Going in the direction of the tram station, Shenron used his impressive wingspan to lift himself to the roof almost like it was just a jump that needed an extra push. The panel he had burnt out of place was still there though scraping across the roof in the breeze. Though it was warped some from the heat. Surely there was scrap to be found inside to cover the holes. They were small but better safe then sorry really...

"Flamey- keep watch from above. Nothing gets near without us knowing. Rosy, you take the trees. We need to relocate, lest something like that comes back," the human talking to her two pokemon. Kiran scratched her ear with two of her claws, watching. Did she miss Carlos? a little, did she really care? not really.  "Yeah... come on the, stations over here." the white winged one started then, the station must be were all the goods are stored. "This way." Kiran nods her head, lowing her upper form a little and followed behind.

"We are leaving this godforsaken marsh first thing in the damn morning." she sounded pissed about something. " And what about those weirdo birds?" asking her claws picking at the plant life they touched. "Okay, both the doors were blown out and a certain Charizard burned a huge hole in the ceiling." she turned back to the fire type in question.

UUUUUUURRRRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAA!" the wrapped dual type started up again as she quickly moved out of the line between it and the bodies. Scratching at her cheek again with her claw tip. "I'll fix it... Metal roofing can be burned back into place..." he suggested. " Can always cut some scraps up, or mold it back into place and cool it off quicker then waiting for it. Sounds like to much effort through." looking up at the hole. Kiran whistled a little " Wow'ye, so much fire power on some scrappy train cart. By the way, did we find any food?" asking the winged butt who she guessed was trying to be leader.

    The Great Marsh | Afternoon | 1

The sounds of the infected throughout the forest were oft but a step here, a faint skuttle in the distance elsewhere. Asura had grown used to these sounds as he travelled within the marsh, his rust-toned flesh and tattered purple pants a stark contrast to the greenery around him. Very rarely did an undead wander into his path, due in no small part in his efforts to avoid them. Fewer times still did they remain in one piece… or however many chunks they started in, at least. A large flock of those who lived without a heartbeat took to the skies today as well. Not unusual, save for their apparent destination being close to his own location. Had a living creature died, and the flying horde gone to scavenge its prey? He was headed in the same direction as they were, and had no desire to alter his current path and get lost in these woods once again. After walking for a short while, the Machamp saw what seemed to be the light of a clearing ahead; a possibly dangerous area, should there be undead there. Asura stood still for a moment, listening to his surroundings for any hints as to the local situation.

”Kitty, get back!” Amongst other commotion in the direction the flock had been headed, this desperate cry stood out. Without hesitation, Asura’s legs pumped to and fro, carrying him towards the clearing as quickly as they could. He had resolved long ago to help those that were in need, and he was not one to abandon his ideals and morals just because of the possibility of danger.  It took but a minute or so to arrive in the clearing, his eyes adjusting to the light. His eyes were drawn first to the human standing amongst the others, then to the pile of gore that was smeared into the mud a small distance from the young woman with a Weavile approaching it. The tint of his fur and flesh left no question about what he was undead.  With a slight lean of his upper body, and a shift in momentum, Asura had picked his target. "UUUUUUURRRRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAA!" Calling out to claim his prey, no doubt… There were those who lived still, and the living are nothing but future prey to these vile things. He didn’t need any more information.

First he would need to put some distance between the Weavile and the group of survivors. It was fortunate that Asura’s own type was effective, four times so, against the dark/ice type. Even if it were many levels above him, a well-placed blow would easily complete this initial goal. He runs past the living Pokemon and the human girl, the only acknowledgement of their existence being his current effort to protect them. The undead, kneeling over his grotesque meal, is too focused to notice before it comes; a Power-Up Punch, delivered by Asura’s lower right arm; which his dominant and most powerful arm. The attack lands clean with the Weavile’s jaw, though Asura does not stop the blow there, and takes a large step forward and over the crimson puddle without stepping in it, his punch following through and pushing his enemy away.

This first punch prepares his body for combat, raising his attack as he settles his stance and keeps his white eyes focused solely on his enemy. ”Tell me what is going on.” His voice was deep, guttural in nature. It sounded as if something deep within him was shaking, producing an effect akin to a slow, deep rasp in his voice. With slow, deliberate steps, Asura gave the remains of an unknown creature ample space, respecting the life they once lived.

    The Great Marsh || Evening
    4

Her Pokemon reacted without question, thought the look of horror that flashed through the Talonflame's eyes caused him to take to the sky faster than usual, in a jittery way. Green hardly noticed, turning her eyes to the Eevee. The Phanteon had some sort of breakdown, and through the haze the trainer felt pity. Maybe she could help try to comfort him later. "Yeah... come on the, stations over here." Following the Aiveon's lead, she dragged her feet through the mud as she turned, Rosy in the back of the group, keeping watch. "We are leaving this godforsaken marsh first thing in the damn morning." Green could only nod in response. She had but only shown up with the group, now she was a part of it, right? Seemed odd. How death had left her only a shell. Kitty had not deserved that.

She had only been trying to protect her trainer.

Fading into her thoughts, the youth had unknowingly lessened her grip on her weapon, the blade's tip dipping into the mud. The sharp call ripped through her mind, making her grey eyes narrow. "Zhen, calm!"

Her immediate thought was, Which one is Zhen? But her answer came in yet another screech, a deep guttural roar from the Weavile. "UUUUUUURRRRRRRRROOOOOOOAAAAAAA!"

Rosy was at her master's side in an instant, Green turning her back on the group who had already gathered at the cable car. Her Roserade flicked out vines from her petal-like hands, massive spiked flashing as they processed what was happening before them. The undead was having an episode, it seemed, reaching into the mud and making unnatural sounds. Green tensed, baring her teeth as it became clear what his target was. "Don't. You. Dare!" Green roared, moving before she even realised it.

"Green--!" Rosy attempted to keep her human from harm, but Green was already positioning herself squarely between the undead and her fallen partner.

"You back the hell off or I will stick this blade right through your eye, parasite!" she snarled, half raising one shoe to physically kick the Weavile away. It was only in the rush of the moment that her mind clicked back into place, rushing so much that she was able to think clearly. Standing over the fallen Liepard, she crouched, taking a stance as she hissed, looking as feral as any Pokemon. Her mind whispered, Why didn't we bury her? and the guilt that shot through the trainer was real. How had she not thought of that? Green had never lost anyone before, she needed to get her act together. Before there was any means to use her machete, Flamey called out from above, "Machamp! Moving fast!!"

Green snapped her head around, yelling out in surprise as, indeed, a human coloured Machamp burst from the bushes. She braced herself, showing her teeth at the newcomer in case it proved a threat, but the celtic markings lining it's skin like veins flashed by, ignoring her completely. To her amazement, one steel coloured fist smashed right into the undead, Zhen was his name, and Green was shocked into silence as it took up a stance and only stared at the Weavile. ”Tell me what is going on.” Green is still gawking like a moron, but she flicks her wrist, signaling to Rosy to stay near but not attack.

He was too close to Kitty. Green felt like they were all just out to get her body then. Rising up from her crouch, she growled, "Who are you?"
