Urgent: Hacker Threat

Recently, Epidemic Johto had been hacked, by one of our own members. The offending member has been banned. As a precaution, we want all rp posts to be saved and documented immediately. Who was banned is private information and will not be publicly announced. Do not ask questions regarding to the ban.

As earlier mentioned, all rp posts for the teams of Epidemic Johto must be saved into a Word document and send to Suicune via Sendspace. We require that:

• You use the Quote function that can be found at the bottom of every post to quote the entire post; do not simply copy and paste the text. The images and the names of the users are also vital information that we need.
• Each post be organised neatly in a way that each post is distinguishable from the other, and also saved in Word or Notepad.
• The file should be uploaded to www.sendspace.com , and sent to Suicune.
• Preferably, I would like you to send the messages to me, Uxie, by PM (make sure to hit the checkboxes under each pm that read 'disable HTML' and 'disable BBCode' so that I get the raw coding; otherwise, the quoting and image coding would all work in the pm, rendering it null). If you send them to me, I can arrange them all by region into folders, put them into a .zip file, and upload it as one document to Sendspace; it would result in a much more clean and orderly way to save the posts.

We already have a couple of volunteers willing to assist; if you would like to help, please post below and say which team/region you will save all the posts of. Remember, you can send them to me in a pm, just as long as you disable HTML and BBCode functions.

If any of our members would like to backup their signature threads, artists' alley shops/sketchbooks or fanfictions, now would be the time to do so. All of those threads will not be backed up at this time due to the sheer volume of them. We are trying to backup profiles, but if you feel more comfortable making your own copies of your character profiles for personal use, you should do so as well. Images and coding should be properly saved if it important enough. We know how hard our members work on getting their shops and profiles to look great.

While our site takes every precaution against hackers, we don't like to take any chances with our members' artwork and writing.

I wish I could finish Pallet but I can't I got to page five and all the text was starting to give me a headache since I don't have my reading glasses and Word decided to crash on me before I could copy-paste and send my progress to Uxie. Sorry everyone. :<

I'm eager to finish Pallet Town and Take another team, Pewter Team. I unfortunately don't have a full version of Words, but could Works work? (HA! Bad pun!) If not, I'll have to transfer to NotePad then...

As long as the text is saved with coding and Uxie can open it in any text editor program, it doesn't matter what it is.

If what is needed is a copy paste of each user posts including images and the actual quote=username boxes I can do Opelucid and Saffron as well as going through the character threads and copying them all.

Should we resume regular posting for the teams it is our turn in or wait until all the threads have been backed up before adding to them?
