It's funny, I first knew about this from reading the story of the Under Team, Interesting team >.>

Hello! My name is Savannah, and I'm new here~ I'm 13, going on 14 in May on the 10th, and my gender is female~ I role-play a bit myself with some of my other characters, so I have a little experience~ My soon-to-be [need to draw her] character is a Relicanth~ I had looked around and not seen any, so I thought "why not?" I'm Samagirl on DeviantART, so when I put art on this account, it will also be on DA.~

Um... I suppose this is my obligatory introductory post, then?
I'm Penumbra, though I have gone by "Red" and "Zana" in the past. I'm seventeen years old, and a Senior in High School. I've been roleplaying since I was roughly twelve or so? One of the first things I did when I got my own computer was to register on a Pokemon forum and join the first thread I saw with my blatant self-insert of a Mary Sue. And if I remember correctly, she was a Pikachu.
I'm well over that phase by now, so you have no need to worry. It was a dark time that I'd rather forget.
I really love writing. I've always loved to create characters, and writing stories about them was just another way for me to bring them to life. I also enjoy drawing, though I only really do traditional work, as it's difficult for me to do anything digital with my current resources. In other words, I don't have a functioning tablet.
I also apparently tend to be rather sadistic when it comes to the treatment of my characters, but at the same time I act like they're my deranged children. So there's that. Once I decide on what species I want my first character to be, I'll get right to writing out my character sheet; I have two completely different ideas that I can't seem to choose between.
So, uh, yeah! I'm really looking forward to getting to know y'all and doing some roleplaying!
I'm trying to be serious here, but really, once you get to know me I'm just one big, socially awkward idiot who thinks kumquat is a funny word.

And if you are struggling between two ideas why not put them both down? You have one Living and one Undead ticket for registering with us so you can always make both of your ideas. Also, if you need two of the same ticket you can also always ask in our Pokemart to transfer an unused ticket into the other type you need.

Just a quick heads up, I don't recommend resizing text like that for posts since it strains the eyes. ^^;;;

Alright.

Well, mostly the sections about characters, mainly tickets, Harbingers and such post formatting and such.

For Tickets, you buy them at the Department Store (found in the hub). The first ticket you buy is 50 FP, the second 100 FP, and so on. Keep in mind that you cannot have more tickets than your character cap, which you can find on your profile. To increase your character cap, you can either gain badges, donate money, or buy them for 100 FP each at the Department Store.

Harbingers will attack and kill characters that have gone over their time limit, by a harbinger contract, or when a user gets banned. When you get approved into a team your have a turn after a User. Here's a scenario;
User 1 posts on February 10th.
You're after User 1, and you have to post before 3 days or else you will get a warning. If you do not post by February 14th, your fourth day, your character will be killed off by a Harbinger. Sometimes, a user will be allowed to kill someone's character off in place for a harbinger.

When you post, in ever post you will have this first;
Although this is optional, most users on here give their characters text colours, so whenever their character speaks their text is coloured. On EJ we require at least 2 paragraphs per posts. c:

Alright, thanks. So, how does one earn FP?

When you post in the RP, you gain FP for every post. [I can't remember the exact rate, 3-5 FP per post? |D ] You can also receive FP from other people by doing commissions and whatnot, which you can set up a shop for in the Artist's Alley's Market Street. You also earn FP by gaining badges.

Alright. So, in order to begin to RP, you have to do a character sheet, correct?

That is correct. The proper order of events is such:
1: Accept the rules, which you've already done
2: Create a character in the profile computer, using the guidelines set forth there.
3: Wait for the character to be approved
4: Wait for your turn in your new team, then post in the roleplay.

As a note, RP posts are now worth 8 FP, to balance the changes we made to the badge rewards.

So you join whichever group you want, as long as it's open?

That is correct. You can see which teams are open by looking at the team sheets.

Is there a form for character creation?

It breaks down the parts, and near the bottom has BBC or a download for a table for the profile. ^^
