Pewter City [Violet's House]{Raining} = Morning = {7}

Templar's grin is feral, his black blade like claws extending fully as he cricks his neck and faces down the monster in front of him.
A deep brown shell, so tainted by purple discoloration it is nearly black, and two red eyes that burnt like hot coals. It had blades for arms and a hungry mouth open wide to suck the fluids from its unsuspecting prey as the rain it had called down slicked its stream-lined body.
"For you there is only the justice of the grave." He declares solemnly, keeping an eye on the fleeing children as they obey his orders and move to safety.
This thing was an opponent he could go all out on without fear, it was already dead. The world would be improved by him removing it.
Rain wetting his fur once again Templar hisses, standing on his hind legs with his fur fluffed up to make him appear even more intimidating as the bladed armed thing tilted its angular head to the side.
Water ran across its brown armor as it prepared another attack, leaping forwards across the muddy ground.
Its clawed feet leave two pronged footprints in the wet ground that soon fill up with water as it raises a bright sickle to slash down at him.
The aquatic predator, come to land, is perfectly in its environment in the rainstorm. It moves far more agilely than the Zangoose can follow as the blade slashes down towards him. The red furred paws close around the base of the blade as it darts towards his head.
Templar lashes out at the undead rock type, hissing in anger like a cat doused with a bucket of water. His black claws flash as he sticks them into the spaces between the fossil pokemon's plate armor. His long tail thrashes back and forth as kicking and clawing and even biting the purple shell Templar screams out loud with anger and smacks the Kabutops hard with Close Combat.

Scared and trembling the little black scaled serpent slithers along the wet ground at Plant's side. Her red eyes dart back and forth through the wet forest as she desperately seeks out some sign of a shelter, some place where they can hide.
"Plant, what do we do?" She whines, hoping that the elder Grass Type knows what to do. She's never been apart from her father for this long and she's confused and afraid.
They had to find a hiding place, a place where they could be safe from harm for now until Daddy got back from fighting monsters.
Her lip trembles.
Daddy always came back, fighting monsters was his job and he was good at it. Daddy would come and find her and pick her up and hug her then everything would be o.k. but where were they going to go?.
Her little blade of a tail showing red against the brown of fallen dead leaves beginning to rot Lamia doesn't know what they should do.
The cold water chills her little body as it seems the air temperature starts to get even colder.
A chunk of ice splashes into a puddle and floats to the top and Lamia whimpers as the cold slows down her movements and makes her sluggish.
"Plant! Verglass!" She calls out in distress as the falling rain becomes hard chunks of hail that bounce painfully off her dark scales and slow her movements.

((OOC: Whoops, I've totally forgot to put in Lamia's Lisping until now XD))

Pewter City | Morning
Plant 42
| Kitty 8
[Raining]

Every sound around him was deafening. Every splatter of rain, splash of a puddle, hard beat of his heart, cry of a friend.. Plant's head was swimming with over stimulation. Already he is panting but from fear not exhaustion. Why was thing here? Why when it was finally becoming nice again.. His pace slows a bit without notice while he wipes again salty tears from his eyes with the sleeve of the sweater. Rain drops hit it and fade in, attempting to soak through the soft material. Why is this happening.. The Snivy squeezes his large eyes shut and presses forward. Yet something nags at his insides making his stomach churn uncomfortably. This was all so.. wrong. So horribly, terribly wrong.

His pace lags. "Plant, what do we do?" The Seviper asked pitifully. He looks down on his new small serpent friend. Was she, asking for his leadership? A few more steps and he stops altogether. Of the three of them he was the oldest, or at least he thought he was. Kitty seemed to of vanished, hiding somewhere else, but her age is an completely unknown to him regardless. Leader? Templar, his other new friend.. He was fighting like a true leader, a protector. Like a parent. Plant's voice gets caught in his thought as the word clicks inside. Its difficult to breathe as he mumbles looking away from the Seviper. "Get Verglas to take you home." By 'home' he was referring to his nest but this entire city was his home. "You'll be okay there."

The Snivy's heart lurches hard in his chest with a painful thump. An oof sound turns his head to see Verglas stumble over onto the wet ground. "Verg!" Quickly he dashes over to help the Snover back to his feet. With a gwuick glance over the dual type seems to be alright. Just a little trip up.. "You gotta take care of Lam." He says with a dry urgency. Plant's eyes catch sight of something that toppled away from his brother in the fall. His heart stops and a tear falls from his eyes that is lost in the rain. The Snivy's eyes grow dark and he looks down for several moments simply staring toward the plastic cup. Verglas had gotten that for him.. Kitty had came to see him and was now missing.. Little La was separated from the Zangoose and afraid.
He knew what he was going to do.

Grabbing the insides from the cup the Snivy jams it deep in his frontal pocket. "Plant! Verglass!" The Seviper cries with the sound of pain. Whipping his head around his orange-brown eyes see the child being pelted by ice chunks. Ice.. The painful bits of false stone smack against him as well and Plant's short arms instinctively go to his head for protection. This had happened before but the trees were much thicker and caught most the pieces. Moving back to La he fans his thick tail over her for a moments respite while grabbing a large leaf from the surrounding shrubbery with his vines. Delicately he drapes it over the child. "It is just ice. Go with Verglas." He whispers softly before quickly darting away from both Pokemon, not allowing time for a rebuttal. The grass snakes streamline body moves swiftly back the way he had come. This was his home. His family. His choice. The pooling water splashes with each step of his feet and soaks the red material upon him. No one was going to take these things away from him without his say so. Templar's white fur comes into view before the shell of the lengthy brown form. The Zangoose had told him to run but he was not the boss. Not of me. A hot rage burns within his heart. That blasted Monster didn't belong here.

Rounding the corner of another building a voice calls out to him, "Wrong way wrong way way." The Caterpie was still held up in her lookout, blinking her red eyes at the return of her friend. He had left why was he coming back! "Kitty go home." The hiss was firm and the Snivy did not stop for her. Disappointment and confusion bubble through her body until the bug is utterly stumped. White Kitty said to go hide but Plant said to go home. Hide at home? Hide now! Her brightly colored body shakes off any droplets of water that had fallen beaded on it. "Plant, Plant!" She squeals loudly climbing out of the tree. Going wrong way wrong way. Since he was not going toward home, she would have to help him! Her pudgy body can not keep up but she see can still see the Snivy. Stopping dead in his tracks Plant grits his teeth. Standing firm the ends of two vines peak there way out into the rain. His lips draw back to reveal tiny fangs making his face look more serpentine then ever. "You don't belong here!" He hisses loudly, thrusting his tail to send a shower of leaves toward the monster.

Pewter City | Morning | 39
[Raining]

The Snover's red eyes look about the ground for what had hit him but there is nothing. Did I imagine that, or did I really get hit? One hand rubs his head but it is nether soothing or painful. "Verg!" Plant cries, running over to help him. "Im alright." Verglas mumbles still trying to figure out what had happened. Using Plants strength the heavy dual type gets back to his stubby root feet. The ground around him holds nothing but puddles of water, leaves, dirt, and other such things. Nothing out of the ordinary. The only conclusion he can come to is he tripped at the same moment his headache pulsed with pain.

His consciousness returns more and more in the next few minutes as the disorientation fades. "You gotta take care of Lam." Plant whispers to him with a seriousness he had heard before. Back when they were going off to fight, which had ended so badly. Cries make both boys look to the little Seviper being pelted with his hailstones. The bits of ice simply bounce off his round bulbous body leaving a pleasant tingling chill on his skin. When had it stared to hail? As Plant helps to cover the female Verglas cant help but wonder what other Pokemon feel from being it with hailstone. It had to be something unpleasant as so many Pokemon seem to whine and cry at its bite.

"Uh, okay.." He finally replies to Plant realizing he hadn't. This wasn't like the Snivy, why wouldnt he lead them to his own home? Moving closer to the snaky Pokemon he asks, "Where are you going, Plant?" Yet the Snivy only soothes the other child meekly with a hint of darkness to his voice, "It is just ice. Go with Verglas." Without answering the grass type darts away from them. right back toward the battle scene. Verglas blinks in confusion. What could he possibly need back there? Was he going back for Kitty or maybe the house? The Caterpie wasn't here and he couldn't remember where she had gone. Maybe she's still at the house.. Then the house itself might be damaged by the attacker though he doubted it.

Looking down at the Seviper and the ice chunks splashing down around her he speaks nervously, "I.. I'll take you to home. Its warm over there." There is a look in the snakes eye that he has seen before. When Pokemon are too cold making them unable to do much of anything. Her name is... Lamia..

Pewter City [Violet's House]{Raining} = Morning = {8}

With a feral hiss Templar's wet fur stands up in spikes as his black blade-like claws scratch and jab at the Kabutops's caramel brown shell. The Zangoose's pink eyes are wide with rage as he ignores his defence and slams into the fossil pokemon again and again.
The thick armoured shell begins to crack under the weight of his furious blows as he wrestles the tall undead to the ground. Its bladed arms score burning lines across his fur, turning even the white the same color as the red patches as he slams his hands around the angular wedge-shaped head and begins to squeeze.
Flailing for a grip in the mud the Kabutops hisses angrily in return, the plates rising and falling on its back as it tries to get into a position where its scything arms can cut through the Zangoose's neck.
A crack appears over the bright red eyes, leaking the transparent fluid that was the shellfish pokemon's blood over his red paws. The point of one scything blade digs into his shoulder and Templar winces with the pain as the Kabutops drives the blade in deeper.
His blood runs from his fur, minging with the black mud as Templar thinks that at least the rain was washed any corrupted blood from the Kabutops's gleaming blades.
A cluster of sharp leaves, held aloft by a glow of power, strikes the back of the Kabutops's armored head, sinking halfway into the thick caramel shell.
The Kabutops doesn't notice but Templar's attention is diverted for long enough for the undead to throw him off and launch an Aqua Jet counter attack. Templar is smacked backwards as the loud squalling of the Caterpie catches its attention. Leaping forwards the Zangoose grabs the little Bug Type before the sharp blades can cut the branch she rests on.
"Plant!" He calls out in surprise, noticing the small grass snake with the determined expression.

"Plant..." Lamia says weakly as the elder snake protects her from the hard cold hail with the broad leaf of his tail. Her small black-scaled form trembles, the cold biting into her and supressing her usually spirited personality. She feels so tired not even her worry for Templar makes her want to move her body. Her lpinkish red eyes look up into Verglas's darker red ones as she curls her body defensively.
"Where isss Plant?" she asks Verglas, her lisp increasing as her words start to slurr. The golden lumps of scale on her belly digging into the dead leaves and puddles of mud the little Seviper slowly starts to slither along the chilled ground, hoping that they get to the promised place of warmth before she falls asleep. Even if he still looked a bit bloody Verglas was a freind and freinds helped freinds.
Lamia blinks slowly, her eyes not wanting to open again.
Templar and Plant would be coming back...

Pewter City|Afternoon (16)
Post Count from Dreamyard

The rain fell turning the firm ground into a sloppy soupy mess of mud. It squished and squelched between Ty's toes. It was a sad change from Striaton City's nicely paved streets. Here in Pewter City the mud came up between the cracks in the street's foundation effectively working its way under Ty's claws and in between his paw pads. The waterlogged Arcanine whined almost childishly as his head fur now hung obscuring his vision. He wanted to shake off but Moka was still on his back recovering from the hit she had taken in Mt.Moon. Ty steeled his nerves and followed his nose forward to find another scent besides wet fur and rain in general... Where isss Plant? Ty stopped and flicked his ears up to listen. He heard no more and growled in frustration until he felt the small weight on his back slowly disappear.

Moka winced as she clambered off of Ty's back and stood as tall as possible without showing any pain. Her shoulder still ached from where that Machoke had thrown her into the wall. The Infection surely didn't slow that tank's strength in the freaking least... Her reason for getting down from Ty's back was also her curiosity of the voice and the fact that Ty's hot and wet fur was really uncomfortable under her. She took a few steps forward looking left to right like she was crossing a street as a kit before narrowing her eyes. Her visibility was limited but she could make out two small figures in the distance. Come on Ty let's go see... Moka flicked her tails slightly just to try and relieve some of the wet from her fur but to no avail. There was no chance of being dry unless the rain stopped or they got inside. And none of these buildings exactly screamed safety to her nose.

((OoC: Moka can only see Verglas and Lamia at the moment Ty can see nothing! Hahahaha!Anyway glad to be on the team))

Pewter City [Near Violet's House] | Morning
Plant 43
| Kitty 9
[Raining]

Kitty's shrill chirps catch Plant's attention as well as Templar's. The pudgy Caterpie has no real defense against enemies making her a literal sitting target. Her branch offers no protection and the rain forces even her sticky feet to grip hard on its slippery surface to stay on. "No Plant, Plant!" She calls out only to watch the battle come too close to her. Both fighting Pokemon have long pointed weapons aimed poised for attack and aimed toward her. Curling her long tail and body around in a meager huddle the bug is surprised to feel soft sodden fur wrap around her instead of sharp pain splitting her skin. Squealing and squirming she flexes in the Zangoose's grasp, still unsure of its safe, then spit her String Shot toward the undead.

Bound tightly in the normal types arm she can not aim properly at the attacking undead. The string quickly goes soggy in the rain but still bunches up on the creature when it manages to make contact. Without dry air it doesn't bind the Kabutops together, making it an utterly useless attack. The silk goes wild as the pair move about, sticking to all around it. Annoyed that she can not do her attack properly the Caterpie cuts it off with a soft squeal. The clumps are useless if they aren't on their target! Kitty catches Plant's gaze; a wide eyed stare toward the fighting Pokemon. The little Snivy's heart clenches tight in his chest. Kitty was supposed to go home, now she was in danger! I should of made sure she went.. It was too late for that now. The monster before him was his only focus. "Plant!" Keeping his head low the Snivy drops to all fours and fans out his large tail, swinging it in the air forcefully with anger.

Sadness and rage blind the child. How dare this thing come into his home and act as though it owned the place! How dare it try to hurt his new friends and cause them pain! How dare it try to ruin something sacred to Violet.. to him. Throwing his head side to side Plant made a small whine to himself as not to scream. He would make it go away, make it at least get after from her home. Again he thrusts his tail around, sending showers of Magical Leaves about. They fly toward the monster without mercy though their power is pitiful, even with the type advantage, due to his level. As his attack approaches the battling Pokemon Plant is not worried; Templar was smart and wouldn't be hit by an allies attack.

The leaves whiz through air as the starter dashes after them. His small body quickly gains speed across the flat sodden ground. Young, rash, and hurting the child merely wants to fight. This creature was a danger to him but that didn't matter if it meant protecting what he loved. "Get out of my home!" He shrieks, slamming hard into the Kabutops shoulder with his Tackle. The Rock types tough outer shell is hardly if at all fazed by the attack and Plant is bounced backward into a puddle. Spinning around to be both on his feet and facing the undead he hisses, eyes dark with malice.

Pewter City | Morning | 40
[Hailing]

The hailstones splash down in the puddles around the children, throwing drops of water upward to fall once more. They almost seem to glow being so bright against the dull colors of the wet city and plant life. The chilly air soothe his mind and helps relax Verglas' focus back to the present day. He couldn't of stopped Plant, wherever he had gone, and knew the Snivy was smart enough to get out of trouble. At least I hope he is.. A shiver runs through his body not from the cold but from his nerves. Last time there was trouble Plant hadn't made the best of choices and ended up severally hurt. "Where isss Plant?" The little Sevipers voice snaps him back once more. "Plant's fine, he'll be back later." Hopefully that was true.

"Come on, lets get you out of this weather." It might not be bothersome to him but its obvious that the hail and rain are negatively effecting Lamia. Walking a few steps in front of her Veglas notes the sluggishness to her slither. It looked like the same feeling he would get when he hadn't had enough food or it got too warm. His stomach aches and turns at the thought, hungry and longing for food, but eating would have to come later. Be strong, now is that the time! The further the pair travels though it is not him who is slacking. The Seviper was slowing their pace and lagging behind, a glazed look to her light eyes. "Come on Lamia, you need to keep going." Verglas tries to encourage her, unsure of of what to do.

He looks around with worry in his red eyes for anything that could help. At the rate she was going Lamia wasn't going to make it to the shelter. There was plenty of random houses and buildings nearby that would at least be out of the hail but not necessarily warmer. There would be no wind in those. Rubbing his hands in concern the Snover blinks toward the Seviper, his voice soft. "H-how much farther do you think you can go? Plant's nest isn't too far off, but there are places we can shelter around here."

Pewter City [Near Violet's House]{Raining} = Morning = {9}

Swiftly Templar moves again, pale pink eyes searching for a place to put down the squirmy little bug without her coming to harm. The caterpie is trying to help but in the wet the string fails to bind to their enemies form, merely dissolving into useless lumps without even slowing the Kabutops.
The Zangoose struggles to keep a hold on the writhing bug as he dodges a sharp slash with one scythe bladed arm. If the caterpie didn't stop squirming soon there was a chance he couldn't keep a grip on her and the little bug would end up impaling herself on his sharp claws.
"Calm down!" Templar snaps at the bug, his ruffled fur and feral expression a sure sign he is in no mood for silliness. This was a fight that he didn't need any more liabilities for.
Turning his white-furred head back towards the Kabutops he notes that the dull-witted monster is having trouble deciding what target to attack, leaving it open to the barrage of pointed leaves from the young Snivy.
The little Grass Snake's attack is brash but ultimiately barely scratches the shell of the looming Kabutops, failing to even knock the Rock Type back a step with the force of the Tackle attack and causing the young grass type to sprawl in the mud as the bright red eyes turn to fix on him. A bladed arm is raised.
Templar curses internally as he darts towards the Shellfish pokemon. He had his arms full of wriggling bug with no way to use his claws to parry a blow. Roughly he picks up the Caterpie and instead of holding her in both hands drops her over his neck like an ostentatious scarf. It was the same way he was used to carrying Lamia and at least this way his hands were free.
Long blade-like claws gleaming the Zangoose shoves each dagger-like claw under the curve of the blade, halting its fall before it can slice the small Snivy in half.
"Lamia?" He grunts out a brief question to the grass type as he struggles to hold back the trembling scythe blade.

"Cold." Lamia says unhappily, curling her tiny bladed tail around herself to hold in what warmth there is to her serpentine body. Her bright red eyes are unhappy and starting to glaze over from the cold. As her cold-blooded body is further chilled by the hailstones bouncing around them Lamia feels sleepy.
In her natural environment when winter approached her species would brumate, resting extensively through the winter months until food was more readily available. Even though it wasn't quite time for that big sleep yet the cold air was telling her body that now was the time when she should find a nice dark place to coil up in and sleep...
Lamia blinks, trying to keep herself awake. She couldn't go to sleep until they were fully safe!
"Not far. Tired." She says simply, forcing herself to slither on after the short tree-like pokemon.
Where was daddy? He'd always been there to carry her before...

Pewter City|Morning|Raining (17)

Ty shook off and his fur immediately drooped covering him like a wet rug. He growled before flipping his fur up out of his face. The deep jagged pink cut in his eye became visible but the vision in it did not. It was grey and half lidded against the elements but still darted around to find something to look at. Ty's ears twitched and almost flipped to the left hearing something. Sounded like... Battle. Moka I'm gonna go see what's happening over there... You go on ahead and find somewhere safe and... Dry. Ty was about to pad off in the direction when he felt Moka's small paw on his shoulder and a reassuring lick on the cheek. For the love of Reshiram Ty... Be careful. Ty grinned and continued on his way hearing the sounds get louder and louder before pouncing up on a nearby house to survey the situation.

Moka sighed as she watched Ty go off to investigate before turning to go the other way. The rain was really messing with her sense of smell and to be honest she hated that. She couldn't see or hear as well as Ty so her nose was that last ditch effort to keep something from getting the jump on her. Moka lowered herself down on her belly and quietly crept forward like she had seen Ty do to humans when they were kids. Her small clear claws were out and ready to rip into something if needed. Her crimson eyes narrowed to almost slits before she took a few cautious steps forward. Not even two feet away was a small snake looking Pokemon and something white... Moka had never ventured out of Unova but her kind was from Kanto. These two things were not however. She had never seen either of them... They looked young-ish so maybe they were innocent enough to approach.

Pewter City [Near Violet's House] | Morning
Plant 44
| Kitty 10
[Raining]

The Caterpie didn't know what to do! She always used her String Shot for defense and Tackle if the situation called for it. If that didn't work.. then what! Tackle was her only other move! Her only other option was to run and she couldn't even that. "Greah greaaaahhh! wha!" The Zangoose's arms were too strong to break from even if she didn't want down. His fur was so cold and wet though, so wet like the splish splash rain! He whipped and darted about making the pudgy bugs head spin and ache, begging to stop moving. "Calm down!" The sharp hiss wracked her thoughts and settled the Caterpie movement. Whining softly with displeasure Kitty had hardly if at all noticed that they were being attacked, the Kabutops hard on their paws but dull in her mind.

The sudden shift of long claws around her cause a high pitched squeal as the insect is moved. Her suction cup feet quickly grapple for anything to hold onto and latch to the new section of moist fur that she is pressed against. Squirming around Templar's thick neck until she has a tight grip Kitty ends up facing the same direction as Templar.
The same direction as the undead before them. Bright red eyes wide as she stares into similar evil ones reactions take the place of thoughts. Danger bad bad! Again the Caterpie spits her String Shot, tying to aim for the shiny red eye she can see.

The young starters shoulder was aching from impact but the adrenaline coursing through his system kept the worst of it away. Alone this fight is too much for the child, the enemy too strong and him too weak. Lamia had Verglas to take care of her and Kitty was with Templar. Only I am alone.. Though it is dark under the cloudy gray sky a shadow looms over Plant as a sharp chnnkk noise rings clear in the air. The larger Zangoose was fighting grappling blade-to-blade to the Monster. Maybe he did have a partner, Templar was protecting him! "Lamia?" He asks in a way that makes the already sodden grass type even colder. No.. The Zangoose was good but deep down he wanted his family to be safe first. He and Kitty were the next step down.. Plant can only manage one word without thought before returning to action. "Safe." She was with Verglas and to the Snivy there was no safer place in existence. Verglas was family, just like Violet.
Which is why he would protect this place with his life.

The Snivy's snaking green vines shoot forward and grip at the rock types exposed leg. With its blades busy their threat is temporarily gone giving him a chance to pull forward hard. The jerk on its support off balances the shellfish just enough to make it fall, or at least lean backward in attempts to right itself on the slick mud. Releasing his vines and moving out of range Plant unleashes another spur of leaves toward the Kabutops. Even if his attacks didn't do much he wouldn't stop until he could continue no more.

Nodding Verglas continues on with a watchful eye on the snake. It seemed the better he felt the worse she did. Puttering along Lamia looked less then happy. "Not far. Tired." He had to admit she had determination to continue on when she felt so bad. His stomach gurgles with growing hunger making one arm wrap around it to silence the sound. The thought of eating the fruits burns a vile taste in his mouth. It wouldn't do much for him but there were berry trees around Plant's nest that could satisfy the Seviper. Food always helps you to feel better, right? He would bring it up but already the conversation felt awkward and his voice would not come.

The leafy tops to the trees come into view exciting the Snover. An odd feeling of unease, like he was being watched, had been creeping through his bulbous body. Once they got into the shelter the prayed the feeling of safety would override it. Hopefully it was nothing and he could focus on helping La even if that job had been thrust upon him without warning. "Just another minute or two. We're going over there." Lifting one arm Verglas points to the small bunch if trees and shrubs. The uncomfortable feeling continues to prick its way through his body making the Snover take a step closer to La and move the tinniest bit faster. Poor weather usually drew Pokemon to their dens, why were they all suddenly coming out?

"Good." The normal type grunts as he braces himself in the mud. His black claws with their blade-like edge weren't as strong as the Kabutops's near metal scythes. Determinedly Templar stands his ground.
The weight of the Caterpie settled around his neck is much more managable than when she was filling his paws and though the dribbles of water seem to be preventing the stringy attack from binding the Shellfish pokemon a glob of glue-like slik manages to hit one of the Kabutops eyes and disorientate it.
It stumbles backwards, caught around the leg by thick lengths of vine, and though its rocky shell is too tough to be pierced by the barrage of leaves the multiple impacts are enough to knock it back that one last step.
The Zangoose grins ferally as the Kabutops's attack is broken and drives forwards with his claws. Gleaming faintly in the misty grey air he jabs out with his claws, trying to find some chink in the caramel brown armour to drive the sharp points home.
Down on one knee but not defeated the Kabutops parries his blow with crossed metal blades in a reversal of their earlier situation.
Snarling and hissing like a wildcat Templar lays into the fosiil pokemon with another Close Combat.
Most of the blows bounce off the metallic blades as the Zangoose tries to strike at the Kabutops's head but the few that manage to dart past the rock type's guard leave visible cracks of weakness on the fossil pokemon's armoured shoulders and chest plates.
A scythe blow cuts into his arm as the furious pace of Templar's attack makes him incapable of defending himself against the undead's return blows.
A dribble of blood oozes into the mud.
"Aim for the head!" The Zangoose roars, hoping that a lucky blow might be enough to get the undead fully on the ground.

The small black snake shivers from the chill but keeps up the pace, the movement helping keep her just the tiniest bit warmer than usual. Her bladed tail twitches with her discomfort.
"Where are we going? I can't ssee." She lisps.
Shorter than the little snover while she was slithering the young Seviper looks around to try and find the place the grass type was pointing to.
Blinking her bright red eyes in an attempt to see the part of the forest the Snover is pointing to Lamia looks forwards to finally sitting down and getting some proper rest.
She feels so sleepy...
Her mouth opeing wide to show the nubby points of her still growing fangs the Seviper yawns.
"Carry me?" She suggests, wishing her father was here to swing her up on his shoulders and carry her to whatever safe place they were trying to go.

Pewter City|Morning (18)

Ty watched the battle fold out quietly. He wasn't sure if he should help though. He knew Dig and Close Combat but... Some living didn't want others to barge in when they were killing something. Ty crossed his paws and snorted sending a puff of smoke out of his mouth. He got a good look at the Snivy and decided at least to push it back some. In the rain, his fire attacks were halved so a small scale Fire Blast would work. Ty growled and shot the medium sized burst of flame at the shellfish's feet watching the rain kill it down to something short of a Flamethrower attack. Still it hit the ground in front of the Rock type making the Arcanine's presence known. Enough monster...

Moka was closer to the two young ones especially the one who looked like a small round Christmas tree. She carefully sniffs his slightly chilled footsteps before jerking her head back in alarm. He smells like he has the disease... But... Moka shook her head unable to accept that a child could contract such an illness unless foul play was involved. She raised her paw to touch him but decided against it. It wouldn't be good for her sanity to try and confront the young one about what had happened... Not now...

((OoC: If Ty stepped over the line with his attack please let me know and I'll change it))

Pewter City [Near Violet's House] | Late Morning
Plant 45
| Kitty 11
[Raining]

Moving away from the clatter of claws the Snivy throws more leaves at his enemy until his tail begins to hurt. The dirty no good monster didn't belong here. It wasn't allowed to come and tromp all over his home like this! Nope nope nope nope nope. With a loud hiss he glares down at the Kabutops, eyes dark with Leer. Catching its gaze their eyes lock for a few seconds, just long enough for the move to take effect, as he hisses louder seeing a hint of fear in the undeads eyes. Templar's sounds of pain break the trance and make Plant take a few steps back. This thing was strong, too strong for him to ever think of taking on. But yet.. "Aim for the head!" He wasn't alone. Nodding though he doubted the Zangoose would see the Snivy jerks his body hard, sending his long, dark green vines toward the Kabutops like cracking whips.

They smashed against its hard brown skull, the sounds of impact echoing in the young ones ear slits. With each strike his vines began to cry and scream in agony. No doubt the attack was causing him more harm then the undead. But I wont give up.. Paired with Templar's strength they could do this if he tried his hardest! They would protect everyone and win. They had to.. The sound of cracking is quiet to the Snivy as there is too much else going on but it is still audible. With one more hard hit he stops his onslaught and moves even further back for safety in his exhaustion. Retracting his vines they whine with pain and burn like fire but he must ignore it. As the last bits return to him they are the most painful. Plant winces and finds himself huddled up, unable to deal with the ache as a gasping whine escapes his long snout. Got to.. stay strong.. He can feel the beat of his heart between his hand and the sweater.

He hadn't noticed his breathe came in hard pants. Body aching if he didn't stay focused he would soon become no more then another nuisance for the Zangoose fighting for all their lives. Turning his orange-brown eyes to Kitty it was hard to spot the little Caterpie. She had moved the majority of her body to the back of Templars neck. The dual had too many fast paced sharp objects flying about for her liking. One stab from those in her delicate body and it would end her. Bad bad nope. With each strike the Zangoose would move so much her sticky feet had trouble keeping a grip. Any more and she would go flying! Between the rain, jerking host, and fur in her large red eyes Kitty's vision is past blurred as something orange comes into view. Rain color no color no. That wasn't right.. She does not know what it is but it can not be good. "Plant!" She squeals in surprise.

Plant's eyes catch sight of it before he even hears the call. Fire. Gasping in horror he stumbles backwards, falling over himself with a shower of leaves launching themselves toward the blaze. Why fire? Of all things why did it have to be fire? Heart beating like a trapped Pidgey he can not break his eyes away from the flames as they dissipate against the drenched ground. Anything but that.. please.. He does not recognize the orange Pokemon that walks from behind him but the bright coloration tells all. Fire... type.. This was the worst possible scenario. It speaks but the words sound as though they are behind glass to the Snivy. "Enough monster.." The effort of attacking was catching up with him. Too exasperated to stand he hisses, sharp, tiny teeth clearly visible, with Leer blazing in his eyes at the Arcanine. "Go away!" He scolds in a cold, angry voice.

Pewter City | Late Morning | 42
[Hailing]

The Snover kept his eyes locked on the particular copse of trees as the feeling of being watched became increasingly uncomfortable. The horrid thought that it could be the same creature that attacked at the house comes to mind meaning Templar, Kitty, and Plant were.. Thats not it. Refusing to believe in that option the Snover presses on through the still thick hailstones. The sense of danger kept his hailstorm from letting up and possibly even increased it as the large chunks of ice bounced off his sprout-like body.

"Where are we going? I can't ssee." The tiny snake pipes. Pointing forward at what he could see Verglas tries to to tell her of what was ahead. "That small group of trees there, with all the thick shrubs under them. Thats where we are going." The discomfort continues to prick at his nerves until the Snover himself can not wait to get inside. "Carry me?" With a soft, humorous smile he looks down on Lamia, "Sure." He says lightly, scooping up the child in his long green arms. At first it feels a bit awkward to move while holding her but quickly the feeling goes away and he continues on with even steps. The ice type feels a chill in his round body that is not pleasant or from the hail. Curiosity turns his head so he may glance back and catches sight of a silvery shape.

Recoiling back the Snover flips around. Facing the unknown Pokemon, a Ninetales by the look of it, he protectively takes a step back while his arms moves up slightly. "Who are you?" He asks defensively. Normally he wouldn't be so accusing but after the feeling of being watched, which he assumed was caused by the fox, and the attack back at the house he couldn't be too careful. He takes a deep breath. Plant had put him in charge of caring for Lamia and that was what he would do.

Pewter City [Near Violet's House]{Raining} = Morning = {11}

Immediately the Zangoose turns away from the burning flames, shielding the frail body of the bug he carried from the torrent of scorching fire with his body as he immediately moves closer to Plant, trying to sheild the small Grass Type too.
An oath rises on his tongue. Anyone should be able to see that the creature they were fighting was pretty much immune to flames and the ones he was fighting along side definitely were not. If it wasn't for the strident cry directed at the struggling Kabutops shaking ashes from its rocky shell he would fear they were under attack from some other source. His pink eyes immediately try to find the threat.
Turning briefly to follow the source of the attack Templar sees a tuft of orange fur. His anger subsides a fraction.
A Fire Type, probably didn't have any other attack moves he could have used but still the incredible lack of forward planning irritated the normal type more than it should have.
Trying to deal with the eerie sensation of Caterpie feet stuck to his back the Zangoose drives another blow into the Kabutops's shell, causing it to crack further.
It is credit to the disease that it doesn't even notice this battle is killing it.
"If you want to help do it some other way then trying to roast us alive!" Templar snarls. "Can't you see there are Grass Type's present!"

Curling her long body up comfortably in the Snover's arms Lamia feels a bit less exhausted. Even if Verglas didn't smell anything like her daddy he was the same color and for now that was good enough for her.
Making sure her stubby bladed tail doesn't accidentally poke her carrier's side he curls her body up tight, peeking her bright red eyes over the Snover's hands.
His body was cool to the touch...
She is too sleepy to think properly but she recognizes that the fox is someone knew.
The little seviper yawns, too tired by the cold to think of attacking.
"Who 're you?" She tieredly echoes the snover, her pink tongue flickering out to taste the warm scent of fox fur.
